I use this bag for traveling to quilting class. It fits my long rulers quite well. I can roll up a project and stash it in. A water bottle fits, too. L.L. Bean used to made a Boat and Tote for gift wrap rolls. I also use that to store quilting rulers. Several quilting friends have complimented me on it.

Make it a yoga bag! Flat bottom, 8 inches wide and tall, 26 inches long. Leave off the zipper top so I can just fold my mat and drop it in there without struggling with floppy sides or a fussy zipper. Add a shoulder strap and a slot pocket outside for a gym pass, maybe a pouch for a water bottle too. Most yoga bags require one to carefully roll the mat and then wad it in there, using both hands.

So happy I found this bag to replace a broken, plastic case that came with our original croquet set. This is easy to carry and looks fabulous on the lawn as well.

keep the croquet bag as is perhaps, but also make a yoga bag styled after your iconic totes! The average width of a yoga mat is about 24 inches. I'd use this kind of croquet bag for my mat if it were a bit shorter and had a detachable shoulder strap. I like that it doesn't have all the pockets of a typical duffel sports bag-- I like being able to zip the bag open and see everything at once--my mat, towel, strap, water bottle, keys, lock. Need an easy-working zipper.

I've been searching for a well-made and reliable yoga bag for my mat, water bottle, towel, clothes, etc. for a while now. I looked at many different makes and styles, but kept thinking, "why can't I find a yoga bag as well made as my LLBean totes?" When I found the croquet bag online, I decided to give it a try and it's wonderful! The bag fits everything I need, it's easy to carry, and I can throw it in the back of my car, and then take it to yoga class with me. The bag is slightly long, but I took care of that in a few minutes by hand sewing a tuck on one end. If you made and marketed a bag for yoga, I think you'd sell many of them.
