Rated 5 out of 5 by AnimatedAnimator Wears like a charm
Low maintenance, nice cut, not too tight, not too baggy, cute and classic. I have several of the wrinkle-resistant shirts and they are very high quality and look good out of the dryer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by carolannie nice fabric, looks crisp without ironing
Nice shirt, glad I got one size bigger to layer with a t-top or shell. Very nice to have a long sleeve not a 3/4. Wish they had them in more colors. Washes nicely, take it out of the dryer promptly and it looks good without ironing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CosmicBlue Glad I Ordered This Shirt
I am surprised that this shirt has not quickly sold out at this reduced price. I am looking forward to wearing mine now, layered with my cotton cable sweaters and later, this spring, with the sleeves rolled and white denim pants. This shirt is slightly fitted, which I prefer to the original fit, which is too boxy for me. The wrinkle-resistant fabric makes it easy care and always fresh looking. I appreciate the petite sizing, which always works best for me.

I love this blouse, I bought the red plaid. Wore it all day Christmas from Maine to Massachusetts, it truly is wrinkle resistant, my only complaint is the buttons are white, the blouse is red plaid, the buttons scream at you :"Look at me", I feel a darker button would make this the perfect blouse evah!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovinglife1 Nice, crisp looking. Great for work or casual
Very cute shirt. I got XL, but I think I could have got away with a L. I normally wear L or XL in Bean shirts. I like the material, it is cool and comfortable. It would be perfect for year around wear. The other plus is that it is wrinkle free . I have not washed it yet, but I know it will come out fine. At the price it is now, now is a good time to snag a few of these. As always, happy with LL Bean quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolCola Bright colors in a classic style
This is my third shirt in this style. I bought a second Ayrshire tartan shirt to have at our holiday home. It is crisp & pressed looking straight from the dryer, holds color well & my very favorite thing in a non-stretchy shirt... the sleeves are wide enough to wear a T-shirt underneath for a layered look. I must admit plaid is my favorite color ever since I was a girl. Way to go, LLB!

Rated 4 out of 5 by evaska The Mini-Tartan Shirt
Though I know Bean posts these under all shirts in the same fabric and cut, no matter the pattern, this review is for the mini-tartan version. First of all, I own two of these: Farquharson and Ayrshire. Please bring these back, in smaller sizes and extended selection of tartans. The shirts are pretty in a sort of preppy way, and I think they work primarily because the tartan is scaled down. I thought I would love Ayrshire the best but I actually wear Farquharson more, as it is the more toned down and easy to wear even in professional settings. The styling on the models is terrible, but you can really play with these. For example, the Farquharson looks great with a skinny belt and under a navy cardigan or camel blazer. The shirts wear well, and launder even better (no wrinkles!). Having said that, I have two suggestions and a criticism. Two suggestions: 1/ I understand that informal, e.g. flannel, shirts are sized S/M/L, but how can dress shirts ever really work unless they're sized in smaller increments? I'm a size 10; consequently the S fits but tightly, while M is voluminous. No wonder, given that the sizing skips my size (M is 10-12, but generous, so it's really 12+). Dress shirts should be sized in numbered sizes. I'm getting tired of this and will start looking elsewhere. 2/ The mini-tartan shirt has the potential to be more fetching than it is with some tweaks: how about the placket and yoke running on the bias, so that the mismatch in the pattern looks deliberate and like a design element? (You do this with pockets on the Freeport flannel shirt, and the result is great.) Now, the criticism: The buttons----Please! The same old white plastic buttons are on nearly all of women's shirts, regardless of style, color, and appearance...... So cheap, and such a spoiler when it comes to style and appearance. I always have to factor in the price and effort of replacing all the buttons. . .

I have the aqua mint and love the color and fit. I am 5'4" and it fits me perfect. Also is made very nice and washes well. This is truly a shirt I get a lot of use out of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by solas Just right!
I feel like Goldilocks sometimes when reviewing LLBean items, as most are just right for me, but I didn't break in to the Bears' cottage! I have 3 of these shirts now (Brodie, Farquhausen, and Royal Stewart Victoria) and am ordering the 4th and last (Ayrshire); if there were more mini-tartans I would probably get more! I am surprised to see that they were too large or too small for some people; they are just right for me! I wish there were solids of this exact fabric and style as well.
