This is my second pair of these pj pants. This time I ordered a size down, as my last ones are a bit big. It was my fault as I thought maybe they ran small, as most other pj's seem to lately. These are just fine in your normal size, and have just enough space to be comfortable. I like that I can wear them almost all yr round, and they look really good too!!

I purchased the Oceanside sleepwear pants in both the blue and the coral plaid patterns. These were somewhat of a gamble, since I had not ordered women's clothes from L.L. Bean before. I like my pajamas to be loose and roomy, so I guessed and got an XL. They fit to a tee in the waist and hips! They're a tad long in the legs, but I can easily fix that. The fabric seems to be very good quality. I put them on as soon as I got them and wore them as lounge pants the whole evening, they were so comfortable. I have ordered several other pair from L.L. Bean now, both in cotton and flannel, so that I will have lounge wear and pajamas for both warm and cold weather.

I bought 2 pair of the Oceanside sleep pants on the 2 a day sale and so glad I got them. The fit for me is nice and I like the long length. They feel a little stiff, but I'm sure they will soften up after washed. I look forward to wearing them this spring.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GreatLksLvr Short between waist & crotch
Thought I'd love these light blue plaid PJ bottoms as much as the other plaid (dark blue & dark pink) Oceanside Sleepwear bottoms I've been wearing for the last 9-10 months. Unfortunately not the case. They feel slightly tighter around the waist, even tho the same size was ordered. Worse yet, they are too short between the waist and the crotch. When I tried to sleep in them, the way they dug in every time I moved or wiggled woke me up.
Love the fun print. Love the crisp material which allows trip to grocery store without changing. Overall length is even good. Can't stand the fit in the top of the PJs. Evidently cut from a different pattern than the Dk Blue/Dk Pink plaid. Back they go, darn. If you're a petite, or below about 5'6", they may work for you

Rated 5 out of 5 by Madre roomy, comfortable sleep pants
I just received these plaid sleep pants and tried them on. Much too large. I checked the size chart and ordered by my waist size (L) and not by my hip size (M). They are really too big and I am going to return them for a size medium. Other than that, they feel cool and comfortable and will work great in multiple seasons, just changing the shirt I use to sleep with them. Added details like the piping on the hem make them even more special.

I have two pairs of the pants and 2 shorts and I must say they are super comfy. I do prefer the pants for lounging about in the evening and early morning. A great buy. I love that the cotton fabric is nice and crisp, but if you are a lover of knit fabric these pants might not be for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AlabamaSue PERFECT PAJAMA PANTS
Sizing ? true to size, be smart and refer to size chart. These do not stretch so don?t kid yourself - buy your appropriate size and you will be happy ? if you are between sizes I would size up. (5?7? 140lbs, small fits fine)
Length ? They are longer than any other pajama pants I have owned and I love this. At 5?7? the length is perfect. That being said ? if you are petite ? you may have to hem, but it?s worth it.
Fabric ? Great quality comfortable cotton. Out of the package they do appear to be stiff for a pajama pant (I have to admit I was skeptical), but I found them to be very comfortable and not too heavy at all. The cotton breathes well so you do not get too warm at night. I think people who passed on these because the initial feel of the fabric are missing out.
No Stretch = Better Look ? Stretchy pajama pants end up being baggy in the butt and pooch out at the knees. These pants look and feel great after hours of lounging. I for one prefer these to stretchy pants.
Stay-put Tie ? A nice feature is that they used a gross-grain tie that stays tied. I have other pants that come untied too easily and this feature is a real plus.
Don?t change a thing LLBean ? I will be buying more! I wish I had found these sooner!

I like the look of these pants, and I think I could get used to the fabric, EXCEPT there's no give to it. I highly recommend ordering a size Larger than you usually would. In sweat pants and shorts, etc, I always order a large and have no trouble. However, these are snug for a large, and for sleeping, I'd like them to be roomy.
