This is the second set of these all weather loungers. Living on a lake we needed a chair that would not blow into the lake because of a strong wind, these are the ones.

Rated 5 out of 5áby pgruder great chair
Have 2 other Adirondack chairs, outside all year round, no wear and tear, look new, easy to put together (like maybe 2 screws)!!! Need to purchase back and seat cushions for comfort but the cushions wear very well and only bring them inside when storing over the winter. Heavy so don't get pushed around in the wind but light enough to move around the porch and deck rather easily. Great chair, a little expensive, but will last a lifetime so well worth the expense.

Rated 5 out of 5áby CRLM Wonderful Lounge Chair!
This lounge chair, made of all-weather material is FABULOUS. It takes 5 minutes to put together -- two screws and two pegs and you're done. The "hide away" foot rest provides extra room in smaller spaces and while some other reviewers said it was "small" I don't agree. This chair is the same size as other all-weather furniture that LL Bean sells (checked before buying). It IS lower to the ground -- but all lounge chairs are. And, unlike outdoor furniture made from teak, this stuff retains its color, stands up to any (and I mean ANY) weather and is good for the environment. We love ours.

Rated 3 out of 5áby TWB1 Adirondack lounger
The lounger is well constructed but looks like a child sized item. It appears quite a bit smaller than the rest of the Adirondack furniture ordered from LLBean. I also thought , since it's a lounger, the back would recline & it does not.

In the past I have always found any L.L. Bean product to be of the highest quality but not in this case. Almost every cut needed to be sanded to clean it up the strands of plastic left from cutting. The two pin were way oversize and needed considerable sanding to get them into the receiving holes. I do not think they will ever come out again. The chair its self is way smaller than aderondack chairs that I have seen or bought at L. L. Bean, very low and not as comfortable as the standard Bean chairs.

Rated 1 out of 5áby JSandBC Too small, too low
I returned these two chairs as they were uncomfortably low and too small overall. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs., but these were too small for me. They almost appear to be child-sized. Adding cushions made them even tighter.

This was my first (ever) Adirondack chair and certainly my first time ordering a chair via internet. I AM Happy with this and the other one I've order AND the Adirondack tables, plus the rocker - I'm on a roll. So impressed by the quality and the craftsmanship. Though it cost more, who has the time to worry about protecting a wooden chair/table, certainly about repainting, not me. The only thing I would like to see, IF possible, is a deeper darker shade of green, such as the shade of green on the wooden pieces for a closer match.
One last thing, a friend applied SPF 70 and sat in this chair, which left a white residue on the chair's arms. After a few rubs with a towel, the residue was still there. However, after applying diluted dish soap and then washed, the residue was gone. So great LL.Bean.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Milou Looking good
Not difficult to put together. Instruction's recommendation for second helper likely due to chairs being heavy & it can be awkward to line up screw holes. Obviously you lose the feel of wood--there's a slight...slick/soapy? feel to the plastic, but that's the price you pay for not having your chair rot. Looks good, heavy enough to not blow around, but not too heavy to move fairly easily.
Found the pull-out footstool very stiff and hard to get out & in. A bar of soap helped a bit, but not sure if time will make it less than a tug-of-war. Like the flat arms for holding drinks, etc. but they're a little bendy for sitting on, which is often irresistible when more guests arrive than there are available chairs.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Beebo Just what I wanted
A convenient, comfortable chair for the deck. At 5'4" it was a perfect size for me. A large tall man might find it a bit small. The pull out foot stool is a plus. As with an adirondack chair the arms are a perfect place to rest a glass. The fact that it folds makes for convenient winter storage. Assembly is easy with just two screws. The fact that it will last forever with no maintenance makes it worth the price. I have other outdoor furniture from the same material that have sat out for eight Buffalo winters and they look like new. Just what I've wanted for those days when I wanted to do nothing more than look at the pond and bird feeders from the porch after a hard day at work.

Rated 5 out of 5áby SuDu Best all-weather outdoor chairs ever!
I have been looking for years for chairs that could withstand year-round Seattle weather. These are perfect! Assembly is a snap, color is great (sage), and very comfortable. And no more dragging seating out of the rain. Own two, want one more, but will wait to see if a reclining version of this style will be offered. Because THAT would be perfection.
