Rated 4 out of 5 by Milou Looking good
Not difficult to put together. Instruction's recommendation for second helper likely due to chairs being heavy & it can be awkward to line up screw holes. Obviously you lose the feel of wood--there's a slight...slick/soapy? feel to the plastic, but that's the price you pay for not having your chair rot. Looks good, heavy enough to not blow around, but not too heavy to move fairly easily.
Found the pull-out footstool very stiff and hard to get out & in. A bar of soap helped a bit, but not sure if time will make it less than a tug-of-war. Like the flat arms for holding drinks, etc. but they're a little bendy for sitting on, which is often irresistible when more guests arrive than there are available chairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beebo Just what I wanted
A convenient, comfortable chair for the deck. At 5'4" it was a perfect size for me. A large tall man might find it a bit small. The pull out foot stool is a plus. As with an adirondack chair the arms are a perfect place to rest a glass. The fact that it folds makes for convenient winter storage. Assembly is easy with just two screws. The fact that it will last forever with no maintenance makes it worth the price. I have other outdoor furniture from the same material that have sat out for eight Buffalo winters and they look like new. Just what I've wanted for those days when I wanted to do nothing more than look at the pond and bird feeders from the porch after a hard day at work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuDu Best all-weather outdoor chairs ever!
I have been looking for years for chairs that could withstand year-round Seattle weather. These are perfect! Assembly is a snap, color is great (sage), and very comfortable. And no more dragging seating out of the rain. Own two, want one more, but will wait to see if a reclining version of this style will be offered. Because THAT would be perfection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MenloParkResident Very nice lounger
This is a very sturdy lounger and I love the fact that it is low maintenance. I also love the design that allows the foot rest to be stored easily under the seat if you just want a chair. I got the green and it is a nice dark color. It is comfortable even without a cushion.
My only suggestion to LLBean? Make something in this line that reclines so someone can enjoy a nice afternoon nap on their deck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by fishlaw Exceptional quality, as expected from LLBean.
Despite some indication that they might be backordered, two chairs arrived on the date promised at initial order. Assembled in less than two minutes apiece and seem to be sturdy, easy to use and comfortable. Exactly the high quality I expect from LLBean!
(I priced similar dense, recycled plastic chairs locally, and they were more expensive and certainly no higher quality).

Rated 1 out of 5 by setanta Too small for adults
I should not have assumed that all Adirondack chairs have a standard size. I am 5'8" and this chair reached my midcalf when I tried to recline. There is no way an adult could recline comfortably, and sitting was uncomfortable as well as the seat only hit mid thigh.
Hopefully I can spare someone the trouble of assembling and then returning this item

I really love how the foot rest slides into the chair. When I want to have my feet up I can pull out the foot rest, and when not it use it stores away. The design reduces clutter, and the flexibility is great. The build quality is excellent; the chair seems sturdy, is comfortable to sit on, and looks wonderful. Assembly was easy with only two screws to put in.
