This is the 1st time I've been disappointed with an LLBean product. I liked the gunmetal color and the light weight, but... although the bust fit, the sleeves were way too long and the bottom width of the parka was huge. Worst of all was the zipper! I actually had to call Customer Service for help in getting it open so that I could try on the coat. I've never struggled with a zipper this much on anything else. Very frustrating. I ended up returning the parka.

I ordered this jacket for a trip to Alaska. It is magnificent!!! It is light weight and very warm - exactly what I needed. You can't go wrong with this jacket.

I've been looking for a coat like this forever and finally found this one. Our weather has a usual temp range 9 months out of the year of 40-60 (and generally raining, too), so this seems perfect. Plus, it fits well and looks nice. My last Bean coat lasted extremely well, and once the weather changes, I have high hopes for this one, too. Love the drawstring waist and soft fleece lining.

I really wanted to keep this jacket. The Gunmetal Grey is a nice change from standard Black. I am not an unusual size at 5"7" 125 lbs, but I couldn't get the sizing to work on this coat. The XS was just tight enough across the chest and arms to notice restriction. If I did not have anything thicker than a tee shirt on I probably could have tolerated it, but it bugged me enough not to go with this size. The S fit in the upper body but was tent like from there on down. I considered keeping the S and see if I could get it tailored but then decided it wasn't worth it.

5, 102 lb bought xs petite. Live in ME and wear this all the time. It cuts the wind, great in damp weather, reasonably trim looking on small frame. I wear a down sweater under it when it is really windy along the coast. Have bright color and now getting gunmetal gray for a more finished look with outfits. This is not for downpours or even regular rain, but great for damp and misty days.

This jacket was a great addition to my spring wardrobe. Perfect for days that are a little chilly with a threat of rain. Fleece lining is so warm and comfortable. Jacket length and relaxed style provide good coverage over a sweater. And the outer layer is quite water-repellent.

Rated 5 out of 5áby LyneV The perfect spring windbreaker!
Absolutey love this jacket! Perfect length (below hips), lightweight, warm, comfy, wind and water-resistant, and a dream to wash! Love the fact that the sleeves are nylon-lined so that whatever I wear underneath doesn't bunch up. Also love the Lycra«-elastane binding at cuffs, collar and hood to seal out drafts. Have it on all the time!

I am very happy with this jacket. I purchased it because I walk outside. I bought the jacket in a size larger than I usually wear. I can wear layers under the jacket to accommodate the outside temperature. The color, bright rose coral, is very visible - good for safety reasons.

Rated 5 out of 5áby jcmkil Runs a little big
I was looking for a waterproof, lightly lined jacket for a trip to Alaska. This is exactly was I was looking for. Not heavy or bulky. I ordered my usual size (1X) and it is a little big (even with a sweatshirt on under it). But that's OK because it has a waist cinching cord on the inside so you can tighten it up if you want. The lining is a soft faux fur but not real thick.
