Rated 4 out of 5 by jimali folding rocker camp chair
I like rockers and this is a good rocking chair, but, yep, this seat is low ! and a little difficult to get up from it.
It's not as compact when folded as I expected it to be, but it's an acceptable size.
Looking forward to using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BostonMatt The best campchair I have
I bought this in store at the Burlington, MA location. I had originally intended to buy the base camp chair but it was uncomfortable after 30 seconds. The Low Rider Camp Rocker was on display so I sat down and was blown away. I sat in it for 5 minutes, I did NOT want to get up. So I bought 2, and we used them to stake out a spot for the fireworks on the Esplanade the next day. I was comfortable all day, and they work great.
I saw some of the other reviews and I was surprised. I'm mechanically inclined, so it is easy for me to pack away and set up, but maybe for others its harder, but it's only 2 steps. The original camp chair is like an umbrella though. The Low Rider is heavier but the bag comes with a shoulder strap. We walked 15 minutes with it no problem. It sits low but it is so comfortable.
This chair is ideal for the beach, car camping and sitting out wherever, everything besides actual camping due to the weight and bulk.

We love that it rocks, but it sits very low to the ground. Wish it had better arm rests and a cup holder. love the size and the mesh fabric.

Rated 2 out of 5 by OldCamperLady too heavy and complicated
This camp chair looks great, but it's surprisingly heavy--wish it were made of aluminum or titanium. It's also cumbersome to assemble and not that comfortable. So sad; maybe this concept will be updated and beta-tested at some point!

Rated 4 out of 5 by VERYYOUNG60ISH Heavy Duty Camp Chair
A very comfortable and easy to assemble chair. My only caveat is this chair is very heavy for its size. You wouldn't have expected the metal used to be like lead weights. It comes with a nice carry bag but that just makes all that weight consolidated and you feel like a burro carrying it.
I recommend this chair if it doesn't have to be carried too far from the car.

My friend who's a RVer and Mountinier had a terrible time setting it up. She liked that it was small but it was too heavy and too hard to set up. She returned it

I love this rocker and can't wait to use it camping. It is a bit heavier than anticipated so I don't think I will take it hiking. Nice and low to the ground, reinforced material for comfort. I am using it in my living room right now, perfect height. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hmclark310 Comfortable, easy assembly, portable!
Design and quality of the chair is very well done. Frame is all metal and very easy to assemble. Great for rocking while reading or holding my daughter! Another great product from LL Bean!

Rated 2 out of 5 by WadhillNH Not as hoped
Bought this on its appeal as a compact chair with added bonus of rockers to take camping, but the rockers mean that you automatically lean back and with no high back, your neck is stuck being unsupported while you are leaning back. We exchanged it for the rockerless style instead. Even on this, a higher back so you can really relax would be great (about 4" would be enough and not increase the overall compactness overly but would be worth it for the best chair).

Rated 2 out of 5 by llheim Not Suitable for Relaxing
While the Low Rider Camp Rocker is well made, and at 5'2" I found the seat to be at a good height for me, the rocker has a low back with no neck or head support. I had to exert effort to keep my head from tipping backward each time I rocked back which wasn't at all relaxing or comfortable. Arm rests are also lacking.
