Rated 4 out of 5 by diehardyankee1953 nice comfy rocker
This powdered coated steel chair is well built and comfy to sit in. It weigh's around 15 pounds. Great campsite chair but walking long distance to a beach and sporting event will leave you tired. Love to see this same chair built in aluminum. The back is high enough for me to rest my neck and head against which is what I wanted. The seat is over 17" off the ground which is perfect for people with back backs and bad knees. I am 5'9 and average built person and it works well for me. A much taller person might not experience the same. But with LL Beans excellent customer service it is worth a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MidnightBlue great except for squeaking
It's hard for me to find comfortable chairs that support my back and neck. Most aren't high enough (for neck) or are too 'slouchy' in the mid-back or sinking in the seat or they lean too far back when upright. So I was very happy to find this.
I especially like the high back (though I would still prefer a little straighter/more vertical when not rocking) . But it's much better than most.
I'm deducting one star because it squeaks when rocking so takes away from the peaceful feeling of a quiet summer evening rocking on the deck! I'm just hoping the fabric will hold up well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coyoteville Cabin Perfect
I sent this rocker to an old uncle living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Coyoteville, California. He loves the rocker, he can sit by his mountain stream with his dog, and then move the rocker to his cabin with ease. Perfect in every way. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brooks51 Surprisingly Comfortable and Transportable
I bought this chair for my son who is driving his Jeep to Alaska. I thought he'd need a comfortable chair when camping. But after trying it out I wanted another for myself, and then I sent two to my mother for her deck and another to my mother in law, who likes to sit with her dogs in the garage. Everyone loves this chair and their friends want one too. The chair give good back support and is a medium width, that gives a good fit. It doesn't rock that far forward, but that's not a problem, and actually helps to give stability when getting out of the chair. Take it to the park, to concerts, camping or just sitting in the patio. You need one of these.

Got this for my mom as a gift. She wanted to be able to rock her grandbabies, but didn't have room for a new piece of furniture; this solves the problem!
It's great for the summer deck, or living room or bedroom for weekends where she babysits overnight, top quality and super fast shipping:)

Gave this at Christmas to my son's girlfriend. Matches the LL Bean Camp Comfort Recliner we gave our son for his birthday to use on their deck. The rocker was well-received and it is still in use (well into January) in their living room because it is so comfortable. It is a highly portable piece of furniture with great quality!

We purchased these rockers for our little camp nestled next to a quiet pond but they are so comfortable we have decided to keep them here at home for the deck. Well made, sturdy but light weight, and they easily collapse for winter storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Great Chair!
This chair is pretty pricey, but is comparable to other types. This chair is ideal for tall or short people as it has a bar that shorter people can put their feet on underneath the seat. It rocks nicely and is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. It is always the first chair claimed on our camping trips. It is on the heavier side, so it is not ideal for carrying long distances. The latch to unlock it from the open position is a little tricky at first, but once you understand what to do it works well. Other reviews mentioned that the chair rusted easily, so I've personally kept it out of the rain. The "blue" color is also more of a "teal" but it is pretty. I was disappointed to learn that it was made in China and am concerned about the integrity of the mesh backing. Overall I am please and looking to purchase another one so I don't have to share.
