Rated 5 out of 5áby Tiffer Fantastic all around!
I ordered two of these vests, one black and one blue jay. Both of them have the contrasting liner. To be honest the liner colors are my least favorite part of these vests, but I purchased these on sale and I'm more than willing to live with that little dislike. These as others have stated do run a smidge large, but IMHO, not much. I'm 135lbs and 5'4", I ordered petite med and they fit perfect with room to spare, but I'm not swimming in excess. These are feather light and warm as well as figure flattering! The quality all around is exceptional, as I find with everything LL BEAN! The pocket lining is very nice and soft. The interior pocket is quite size able! The armholes IMHO, are perfectly normal in size, with no excess fabric bunching out. I highly recommend this item! Thank you LL BEAN for wonderful products and risk free shopping!

Rated 5 out of 5áby FCSMasterGardener The lightest and warmest vest ever!
I, first, applaud LLBeans' speedy and thorough shipping service; not only it's free, fast, reliable and keeping me informed of its delivery day, but also, my packages often arrived before estimated dates !
Second, quality: they are superb! I've purchased this down vest based on my 2 daughters down jackets quality, light weight, ease to pack into small bags, and warmth. And I am a very happy customer!
I keep my indoor temperature in winter at 60's, so the humidity can be at least 35%, I can wear this vest over a turtle neck, no weight, with ample ease of movements. No more bulky sweaters or jackets indoors!
I'm 5'3", 118 pounds, size in petite, small is fine. Order x-small if you want a more snugly fit; the baffle stitches are stretchy. Just make sure the bottom is big enough for your hip, because it's not stretchy there, although there's a pull cord to cinch it tighter.
I don't mind the bigger arm holes because I can wear a bulkier sweater underneath this vest. I foresee having this highly functional vest near me for years to come.
I recommend this item to anyone who loves no-weight comfort and warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5áby activeoutdoorsylady great vest
Just got my schrunchy vest and LOVE IT !! I needed a layer to fill up my mid-section of some winter coats, this is it! My new winter coat (s) are cut for wider ladies, and much as I love the coats, I have air going up underneath - hence, the idea of a vest, and it works!! Wish LL Bean would make Tall women's clothing, as I have to get a larger size to accommodate longer thin torso and arms.

Rated 4 out of 5áby GalenaNightfire Not Flattering for Large Busts
Well made, with a deep rich color (black), and very warm. However I bought it because of the reviews about it being "flattering" and "slimming." If you have an athletic build (read tall and slender with a smaller bust), this vest will likely be perfect for you. If, on the other hand (like me), you are short with a larger bust, the vest is not flattering.

After reading reviews , I was a little hesitate to buy this vest-concern over the large armholes. Although they are a little large, by the time you add in a thermal or sweater / thick tee- not a problem.I typically wear a size 8. I bought the small. Fits great ! I like that it is longer in the back and is fitted which defines the waist area. The lightweight is ideal- not too bulky. All the colors are great- after 3 decisions, I finally decided on the Fresh Lime. Goes with everything !! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a puffer vest that does not make you look several sizes bigger.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ArtCatNightOwl Love the black and red vest!
I really love the touch of red on this vest. Edgy and classic with a black cashmere turtleneck, black slim fit pants and dressy black boots. I did size down. I usually wear a PXL in LL Bean vests but bought the Regular Large and love it. Love the extra length in the back too. Thanks, LL Bean! This one's a keeper!

I have a collection of down vests.(7) This is my 2nd from LLBean it is my new fav. It's not as puffy / life jackety as others I have but it's still plenty warm. Yes, the arm holes are on the big side, but just wear it. It's not noticeable while you are warm and happy wearing it ! My only complaint is that it is a little short for me. I have a long torso and would like the vest to be longer than my shirts. LLBean NEEDS Tall sizing. I have worn this over the Down Sweater, it is a warm not bulky combo. It does run a little big. All my LLBean down is in small (sweater, lightweight 850 coat) but I bought this in a XS.

Absolutely love this vest. Fit is perfect and feels virtually weightless. Love the lime color! This will be my go to layer for warmth. Packs down into a small package for travel.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Surferchic I wanted to love this vest SO BAD!
I fell in love with this vest as soon as I pulled it out of the bag. The unfortunate part is, the Large was WAY too big for a Large and the Medium fit just a bit to small. There's ALOT of difference between the medium and the large. In the large I had enough room to be 9 months pregnant in. The medium I could barely zip. It's too bad because this really is the perfect vest! I loved it, but, had to return both sizes. I was also a fan of the larger armholes. Would have been comfy with a thick sweater. Better luck next time I guess.

I never write reviews, but I had to for this one. I started with the black about 2 months ago, and have reached for it so many times I felt I needed to switch up the colors. I just ordered my 3rd color, in red, and the gray is currently in transit to me. This vest looks sleek, stylish, and athletic. It keeps me perfectly warm but not overly hot and allows my arms great mobility. What's more, my pea coats fit over it, giving me extra warmth on bitter cold days. I simply love it.
