Got the blue, very nice color and pattern, fun! Background white is as white as many patterned sheets, not a cotton bleach white, but nice. Surprisingly smooth, some crispness but def not uncomfortable. Not a fan of crinkly crisp. Like them much more than I thought I would!

It's getting harder to find real cotton percale sheets (I see more "sateen" than percale these days), so seeing these listed on LLBean was exciting. I bought a set in the coral color in Queen size.
Excellent! Very smooth, very crisp, cool and comfortable. The weight is nice: sturdy but not stiff. A few washings have only improved them.
I recommend these!

My sheets are not really white. I am washing them for the tenth time. If they still look discolored I will send them back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BubbysGrandma Nice sheets with one annoying shortcoming
These sheets are made from nice quality fabric, are well-constructed, and of a beautiful design.
The shortcoming: When you make your bed in the customary way, with the open ends of the pillowcases to the outside of the bed, the print on one case is upside down. A bit of planning could have prevented this, and made for a near perfect set of sheets. This is a disappointment at this price point.

First let me state, after reading many reviews of the LL Bean Sunwashed Percale sheets I feel many do not understand sheeting material. I was born and raised in a textile community at a time when 'hanging out the wash' was one of my chores. Percale is the weave of the fabric not the content. These sheets are 100% cotton. For those who wish for a more wrinkle resistant fabric, the blends, say cotton/poly, in the percale weave is what you are looking for in the fabric. These 100% cotton sheets will relax after multiple washings, as the laundering of the fabric removes the resins applied during the dying process. All sheeting is bleached and goes through a dying process, even white sheets. Also, for 100% cotton, overdrying causes more wrinkling. I love them, they have a great cotton feel and will feel great during hot months, thank you LL Bean for a great set of sheets!
