These East Point Boots are great. They are very comfortable and really formed to my feet within two days. I read a review complaining of quality and was worried at first, but after wearing them for three months in environments from the office to the woods, I see no flaws in them. The quality is good. These boots are not Danners but they were not intended to be, and they are very good as an all purpose boot. They run about a half size bigger than listed. I ordered an 11 1/2 and ended up exchanging for a size 11. I require a wider boot and the wides are actual wide unlike many shoe that claim to be so and as such, fit quite comfortably. I have nothing bad to say about these boots and would recommend them to anyone!

I ordered them without ever trying them on due to their reviews and style. The boots did not let me down. They are extremely comfortable and never need to be "broken' in like most boots. They are just a tad large but not enough to go up/down a size. The soles have great traction and the quality looks top notch. These will definitely by my everyday boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BenInBb Great! Best purchase in a long time.
I bought these before the Polar Vortex Winter of 2013, which was both very cold and very snowy where I live. These boots were among the best purchases I've ever made. Although LL Bean doesn't claim that they're waterproof, I've never felt a drop of wetness through rain, snow, or slush. I wear these with thin socks as rain boots and with thick socks as snow boots. They're wonderful. I love them. I highly, HIGHLY recommend them!

I wear a 10 in Nike and I ordered a 9.5 in these boots. I am sending them back as they are still too wide in the toe cap area and still a bit too long. I have reordered a 9 as I do like the look and sole of the boot. The problem is they don't come in until January :(

These boots are just what I was looking for. They are a great casual boot, for wearing with anything from dress clothes to shorts. I wouldn't use them for the same activities as "work boots", as I'm not sure that they'd hold up so well, but I don't think that's what they are intended for. They are a semi-rugged, casual boot.
Please keep selling these L.L. Bean!!!

I had been eyeballing these great looking boots for several months before I finally gave in and bought them. My use for the boots was mostly normal around the house type of work, and just for casual wear.
When the boots first arrived I was very happy with the look. When I put them on I noticed the toe box was a little bit larger than expected, but no big deal. I threw a nice comfortable insole in them and bam, I was content with my boots. Very comfortable and easily broken in after a day or two of normal wear.
I have now had the boots for about 2 months and I am returning them. LL Bean has a good reputation for quality products but this boot was made to be worn as fashion not as a boot. If you look at most of Beans boots they have triple stitching along the vital parts of the boot, this boot is single stitched and after two months of normal boot wear 3-4 days a week the vertical single stitching on the outside, midfoot,is completely gone and the boots are much more ventilated than intended.
These boots might last forever as a fashion statement to look good, but for functional use they do not have a chance.

I bought for use in winter, to walk to work on icy sidewalks. I wear them all the time. Very comfortable. Leather wears well and looks great. I oil them at least once a month. Only negative is laces. buy extra pairs, they don't last long.

My wife got me some UGGS, but for men, for Valentines Day. I wanted something a little bit more utilitarian and classic, so we returned them and after a lot of research, I got these. They arrived promptly, look sharp, and after two weeks of constant wear, they are broken in. I used Penguin waterproofing on week one, then coconut oil on week two, and they just keep getting more and more comfortable. If you're on the fence about getting these, I hope this review convinces you you won't be disappointed. The bonus is that they're basically guaranteed for life, and knowing that gives me peace of mind.

First off Bean service has been top notch all the way but I am just not happy with the quality here. I needed something with traction as my Katahdin's just don't have the winter traction I need so I thought I would give them a try, First impression was good as I liked how they looked but leather/materials were no where near the same quality as the US made Katahdin boot. Within a week the stitching came out but bean was quick to replace. So onto the second pair. I went to pull them on yesterday and the pull tab ripped off in my hand. Looks like I will have to take these back and try another brand. I would like to have the waterproof version of the Katahdin but a little pricey at 225.
