Sorry L L Bean Shoppers, my review should have read Under Armour not Armour Under.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 30yrBeanGirl Armour Under leggings/run small?.
Read all the reviews. Based on that and the XS I usually order in bottoms; I ordered the XS. I weigh in at 97 to 100 #'s. These were very tight in the waist. I had a hard time getting them over my hips.(34"); very binding. Even though their smooth outside slides over a pair of hiking pants or slacks; I would not feel comfortable wearing these all day. Too binding for me. Gave them 4 stars as I am familiar with Armour Unders reputation. No doubt they'd be warm. Too hard to size via mailorder therefore I would not recommend to a friend unless they went to an L.L. store and tried them on. I don't have that luxury. I will look in a local dept. store for something comparable.

I was looking for a pair of leggings that could keep me warm and these fit the bill.
I wish they were a little longer, but overall am satisfied

Rated 3 out of 5 by Edalyn Good product, poor fit
Ordered these for a trip to the northwest to wear alone or under my clothes for extra warmth. I am 5'9" and weigh 122 lbs. Ordered a medium hoping they would be long enough. Kept my legs warm, but were too big in the waist and too short in the rise, returned them. Would love it if they made a "small/tall" size.

I wear long underwear from about November through March, so I'm always looking for the warmest and these are it. I'm 5'3" and 120 pounds, so the small was perfect. Previously, the ones I got from LLBean had very high waists and were higher than my pants. That was annoying. :) These come up below the waist, and are snug but not too snug. Just perfect. I might need another.

I wanted to love these, I really did, but the waist was simply too big. There is no drawstring, which defies logic, so the pants kept falling down when I tried them on, since I do have a waist and the construction was weird. If someone is straight-waisted, maybe these would work, but I was really peeved. Definitely would have been good pants when I was pregnant, ha! But, I have zero input on how warm they'd be, since I would have spent the entire run tugging them up or tripping if I'd have dared to do more than walk around my bedroom. The fabric felt and looked quite nice. Good luck.

The quality is excellent, but definitely order at least one size up. I'm usually a size 2, so I got the extra small and it was REALLY small. Fortunately my daughter (size 00) could fit into them and loves them.

Love these, purchased the x-sm, as this was all that was available, normally would wear a sm, but the x-sm fits perfect, the sm would have been to big. I now wish I would have purchased two (2) pairs. Will purchase another pair next fall. TY

Rated 5 out of 5 by OhioDiana Pricey, but good, warm layer
I have an older version of this and needed a smaller one after loosing some weight. This is a compression legging and it works best when it hugs the body. Got a chance to put it to the test while directing hikers during an event. The temp was in the low teens with a wind chill around zero. The legging felt warm very shortly after putting it on. I did have on snow pants and heavy wool socks, but the legging seemed to keep the warm in. Wish my fingers and toes stayed as warm!

These have not yet been tested in the cold. They are a very good fit and very comfortable. I have Reynaud's phenomenon and we'll see how well it keeps my extremities from going numb watching a football game.
