I wear a size 8 glove and ordered a Large. These gloves are not true to size. I did exchange the L for a M and still have to pull down on the finger tips for a better fit. Not a big deal. It is a nice glove to go about town with.
As for warmth...I am getting an education on the reviews. I doubt any glove will keep my hands as warm as I would like as I have arthritis! Getting old isn't for sissies!

the pluses are: well made, soft, fit well, have some pretty good dexterity in them
negatives: NOT WARM, even in low 40's. Guess others don't have this problem. Maybe for driving they'd be ok but out walking, forget it. Plus zero wind block in them. I could feel a 2 mph breeze. Glad I didn't pay much for them.

I have only worn them in this fall in Rhode Island when it turned brisk and they kept my hands warm and they were very comfortable. I love the stretch. They feel like you are not wearing gloves at all they comform to your hands so well. They look great as well as I have a jacket to match and I enjoy being color coordinated at times, call me impractical. Lol. Seriously. These are fully functional gloves that are the most comfortable of all the llbean gloves I have purchased. They may not be the heaviest for the coldest days but a fall day in the 30's I give them 4 stars.

When I read the description of these gloves they said perfect for cold weather and that they would be warm. Well, I don't find these gloves warm at all and they don't fit me very well.

I purchased these gloves because I wanted a flexible, form-fitting but warm pair. In size small- I am 5'3"- they are form-fitting but not too snug. They are fairly good at keeping one's hands warm- I am particularly bothered by the cold so I am content with their performance. The non-skid grip areas on the finger pads and the palm are useful when gripping objects.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cosmic1 clumsy, made it uncomfortable
I tried using these gloves while driving, using keys, handling money. The finger pads kept moving sideways or lengthen off the tips. Cell phone use was cumbersome. (I was not driving.) I like the color and warmth.

These gloves are warm and look nice too. I like the fingers being longer. I bought 2 pairs of gloves, these and a pair from another vendor. The other ones have short fingers. I recommend the LL Bean Power stretch gloves.

i like the color and feel of the gloves but they do not keep my fingertips warm in very cold weather. they are fine in moderate weather but I was hoping for more warmth.

The gloves are comfortable and fit your hands, but not warm enough for my hands. As soon I left my house with a temperature of 20 degrees, gloves began to cool inside and even when I remove them in my office, my hands were cold. Do not recommend for a person suffering from osteoarthritis.
