I bought this knife for myself and now I know why. The knife is sharp and ready to use right out of the box. It also fits perfectly in my pocket. It's got that classic wood finish that exudes manliness and evokes memories of your grandfather. Don't forget that the price is pretty easy on your wallet, too. July 6, 2011

Mostly my fault for not realizing the size before ordering and making the wrong assumption. LL Beans returns process and customer service continues to be topnotch. June 11, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5�by kilog66 Buck Trio yes its not made in the USA says it's imported in the description, yes it has thick blades at steep angles but it is also well made and extremely sharp, i've had no problem getting it back to or sharper than it was when new. overall it is a great pocket knife for small work especially for gutting trout and other smaller fish. only gripe is the tension on the blades when opening and closing is really strong might loosen up after more use though. It may be a Buck knife, but it doesn't approach the reputation and quality of construction of other Buck products. December 30, 2010
