I'm a size 33 waist. Ordered Medium shorts. When tried on they were too loose. Adjusted inside elastic bands, still too loose and looked bunched up at waist. Returned item and exchanged for Small. Couldn't even get zipped up or waist button connected. Gave up and returned.

I think they're great and funny thing, I don't own a bike so I just took the liner out and they make one dandy (comfortable) pair of everyday shorts.

Nice looking short, but fit was too loose for both the liner and waist (size large)--I am a true large but these didn't fit well. The pockets are indescribably bad, The open side pockets are shallow and will spill out anything that is placed in them. The zippered side pockets are too small for my hands to fit into them. There are other zippered pockets as well.
Bad product needs elasticicized and/or adjustable waist; few bigger poxkets, both in depth and in opening size. Clearly designed by someone who doesn't ride bicycles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PLamb Great shorts for recumbents
This is my second cycling season with these shorts. I don't use or need the inner liner on my recumbent. Like the zippered pockets. iPhone 6 fits nicely in the right thigh zipper pocket. Pants are cool and light. Leg length is great - just above the knee. Like the inner waist band adjustment. Great shorts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mj12 great fit for girls too
not a cyclist, use them for modesty as a 52 year old female. don't need to be running around in short shorts. I love pockets so usually end up in men's shorts. wish there were more colors

Rated 2 out of 5 by Youpickmyname Inseam too short for cycling
In my opinion, the inseam of these shorts (8-1/2") is too short for cycling. I find the Cresta Hiking shorts to be a better length (10") for cycling, as I don't use a chamois liner, but they don't come in black. So if I want black LL Bean cycling shorts, this is the only way to go, but if I want them to be long enough, I go with the Cresta shorts.

Very good quality---Like that of reducing excess material.
Do not like the two buttons of attaching inner lining. I consider
it a pain and time consuming. I think four snaps would suffice--
one each side, front and back. With the buttons on each side,
the front and back collapse and makes it difficult to put your
Also, with the inner lining better attached, perhaps one could

I just bought a new Specialized Sirrus Pro Carbon and there's not much of a seat on the bike. I did a 19 mile ride yesterday and couldn't have done it without wearing these shorts. Comfortable, cool, padded - I liked them so much I bought a second pair.....

Shorts are OK but pockets are unusually shallow... anything you put in them will fall out when biking.
