I received the set of king sheets I ordered in coffee in January. They are the softest flannel sheets that I have every owned. The fit is perfect along with the color. I bought flannel from other places and they don't compare to the quality of these sheets, mainly,because the old ones are know knotty and hard ,plus the weight of them is uncomfortable. LLBean flannel is lighter and warmer and extremely softer than the old sheets. You feel llike you are sleeping on a cloud. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. Also, there are alot more choices in color than you can find in any department store. Great Sheets!!

I bought a set of these sheets in January and have been using them for about two months. They look great and feel soft but they constantly shed "fuzz" which manages to migrate to all the rooms in the house. (At first I thought my non-shedding dogs were shedding.) I followed the laundering instructions, so that can't be the cause. I purchased another type of flannel sheet from llbean and did not have this problem with them. I am very disappointed with these sheets and won't be ordering flannel from llbean in the future.

I tend to keep things until they're well worn out, but when my husband put his foot through the bottom sheet on our bed, I knew it was time. I purchased these flannel sheets thinking I wouldn't get much use out of them until fall, but the western NY winter lingered on, so I tried them last week. I can't believe how soft and warm they are! I washed them first and haven't noticed any pilling; they're a cream color so maybe It's not as obvious, but because of other reviews I was looking for this. I bought two colors, intending to keep the set I liked better, but I liked them so much I'm keeping both. It will probably be years before I need sheets again - I just hope LL Bean still carries these the next time I need sheets.

I bought these flannel sheets because of their reasonable price but was extremely disappointed that they pilled after the very first wash. I have now washed these sheets many times and will continue to use them but will not buy any more.

The pilling (piling) on these sheets is really bad. When I received them, I washed them in cold water and dried them on the line. I do not use dryers. The next time I used them I washed them in warm to hot water and the pilling is worse. I know LLB says it will eventually calm down but I know I won't buy another pair of these particular sheets. I was really looking forward to using them. They are very soft and comfortable.

These are the second set of Ultrasoft Flannel Sheets I have ordered from LL Bean and again they are outstanding. Other expensive flannel sheets previously bought did not maintain the softness that these sheets do. The extra deepness is appreciated as it provides a better fit.

My husband absolutely loves how warm and soft these flannel sheets are, but they were pilling like crazy even after several washes. I had to vacuum the room and bed after changing the sheets. I like them, but wish they didn't pill so much. I hope this doesn't continue for long.

Sleeping on these sheets is like being nestled in a bag of cotton balls. They feel so luxurious, and most of all warm. Between the flannel sheets and our down comforter, we have to turn our heat way down at night. Before, I had to warm our bed with a hot water bottle before getting in. Now we get into bed and the bed feels warm.
The size of the sheets is very generous, and they wash and dry beautifully. Because they are queen size, I wash them separately, which possibly helps to keep them from pilling. This is my first experience with flannel sheets, and we couldn't be more pleased.

I had flannel sheets I got from a national department store, with a pretty pattern and low price. When I decided to buy the LLBean Seaside Floral quilt, I needed new sheets to go with it, so splurged on these Ultrasoft Flannel sheets. These sheets really are much softer and more comfortable than the department store sheets. I got the Natural color, which by itself is boring, but it goes with the Floral quilt very well. My only complaint is that the sheets are so warm and comfy, I don't want to get out of bed in the morning!

These sheets feel very soft and a nice weight. After the first wash there was a lot of lint in the dryer but have not noticed a lot of pilling yet. The fitted sheet is a tight fit on a pillow top mattress so I'm hoping there will be no shrinkage.
