I have this comforter in a queen size buffalo plaid and it has worn so well that I decided to order another, but in a king size in the ticking stripe. Altho I have a queen size bed, I wanted a comforter cover that would approximate the size of a bedspread (having recently abandoned the dust ruffle option). This works perfectly. It covers the queen bed and comes just a couple inches above the floor on both sides --- good for air flow and keeps the cats from going after the mattress foundation! The fabric is wonderful -- soft and warm and washes/dries beautifully. The only problem is that my queen size comforter shifts a bit inside the larger cover. I may end up buying a king size comforter! I also bought the matching shams -- this creates a more 'finished' effect for the bed. Looks great.

Before I even washed the duvet cover and accompanying shams, the flannel was nice and soft...even more so after I washed and dried them. So glad I made this purchase - looks great and is great quality.

I ordered this comforter cover in blue and white stripe after receiving a down comforter (from another company) as a bridal shower gift. I am so pleased with the comforter cover. Not only does it fit my queen-sized down comforter perfectly, but the cloth ties on the inside of the cover are PERFECT, absolute genius, in anchoring the comforter in place. Growing up I hated comforter covers because my comforter would always get bunched up in the bottom, but not so anymore! I sewed cloth loops onto my down comforter so I can tie the cover's ties easily to it (as I mentioned, the comforter itself is not LL Bean), and it just works perfectly. The flannel is soft and high-quality. The stripe pattern has a preppy, cottage-style look to it. I simply love it, and my husband feels the same. This is a 10/10.

I ordered this thinking it would be just the thing but was unfortunately disappointed. When I put it on the comforter it just looked loose and sort of sloppy. The corners pulled in after tying them to the comforter. Just didn't like the whole look or the way it fit. The flannel material was very soft and I'm sure would have been comfortable and warm. I am reluctantly sending this back.

It's been a long time since I've been so excited about a purchase (except for a few pieces of jewelry). This coverlet is so very soft and warm. It feels smooth and wonderful on your skin, I've actually taken two other quilts off my bed and only use this coverlet with one of my heavy comforters inside. So nice to crawl under the covers at night. It also washes beautifully. Again, one of the best things I've ever spent money on. ENJOY!!

I bought the Aubergine Ticking Stripe comforter cover on sale for my king sized comforter. My comforter is not a down, it's an inexpensive cotton comforter from a dept store. Thought I'd give this a try and if it didn't fit or work out I'd buy a good down to fill it. It fits great. I tied the corners of the comforter to the inside cover (only way I could figure to attach it). The cover is filled perfectly, lays smooth on the bed, feels warm and cozy. I like the construction - lots of buttons on one side, stitching and pattern even all around. I was afraid the style might be too country for my decor, but I think it goes with many different styles.

This is an amazing Queen Size comforter cover! I have only just washed it and slept with it for one night, so can't speak on durability. It is so soft and cozy.
Only problem is, it is 14 inches longer than my Queen Size feather comforter, so the cover hangs there unattractively limp on the end of my standard Queen sized bed. Had to go to the competitor to buy an oversized Queen comforter to fit the comforter cover, so ended up spending hundreds more than I originally intended. BUT, the comforter cover is so wonderful, I am sure it's worth it?
Other than that, it is absolutely fantastic!

Bought this for my husband's comforter. Turned out to be way too warm for him and since the quality was the very best just could not return it. Put his blanket in it and now it is perfect for him. It is smooth and easy to keep the comforter or blanket secure with the straps in each corner..

Soooo soft! I was a little concerned with the pilling issue mentioned by other buyers, so I'm happy to report that I've had no problems with it. The sheets and pillow cases are all soft and thick, and FEEL durable. (I can't tell you if they ARE truly durable since I've only had them one month. Only time will tell...). Compared to my other flannel sheets, these just feel better and softer.
