When we opened the package, the sheets had an odd chemical smell that I assumed would disappear after being washed. However, the smell still remains. I will try to wash them again. The color and feel of these sheets deserves 5 stars, but if the smell will not go away we will not be able to use them.

I bought these sheets a year ago looking for some comfy flannels for the winter. They are our favorite sheets hands down. They are soft and cozy. After multitudes of washing, there is no piling or color fading and they still fit the bed easily. We love them. Planning on getting more.

I love these sheets. I have had no issues with piling. They are soft and warm. Except for washing, these sheets have been on my bed since I received them. I am thrilled. I have had other flannel sheets, but they did not hold a candle to the quality of these sheets!!!!

silly Me...I saw a photo of a set of sheets, and when I ordered, I don't remember there being choices besides size...I ordered King....did not realize I wasn't ordering a set, until IT arrived...a bottom sheet. shame on me...I will be very careful IF I ever order from Bean again.

I HAVE PURCHASED THESE TICKING STRIPE FLANNEL SHEETS FOR ALL OF MY BEDS AND AS GIFTS FOR VARIOUS RELATIVES EVERY YEAR FOR MANY YEARS. THIS YEAR THE QUALITY OF THE SHEETS IS NOT THE SAME . THIS YEAR THE COTTON FLANNEL IS THIN AND ROUGH TO THE TOUCH. I RETURNED ALL OF THE SETS I HAD PURCHASED FOR MYSELF AND AS GIFTS TOO. I AM HOPING THAT YOU WILL BRING BACK THE HIGHER QUALITY TICKING STRIPED BEDDING NEXT SEASON SO THAT I CAN RETURN TO PURCHASING THEM FOR MY YEAR AROUND USE..

I bought these because I liked the pattern on them and they weren't too expensive. But they are thin for flannel and the bottom sheet does pill a little. I didn't want to spend the extra money for the Premium supima flannel. The bottom sheet does fit my deep queen size mattress very well and overall I'm fairly happy with them. I'm hoping the Premium goes on sale and maybe I'll buy a set of them.

Thumbs down. This appeared dubious in the wrapper as very coarse-count fabric and after 3 washings turned into 80-grit sandpaper to lie on, as did the top sheet and pillow cases. LLBean had better keep closer tabs on its manufacturer's products. I'd return it but have lost the packing materials.

These are lovely when they arrive, soft, and actually fluffy.
But they pill with the first wash and feel gritty.
They also compact down, and do not look or feel fluffy.
The pilling feels awful, and looks awful as well.
These do not "resist pilling" as the description says.
Not typical of LLBean in any way.
Only cold enough here to be used and washed a couple of times, but that was enough to totally transform the look and feel.

I have been hunting for a printed sheet that would fit my 17" deep mattress for years! This sheet says it fits mattresses up to 15" but this fitted sheet fit my mattress better than some sheets I have purchased claiming they fit mattresses up to 21" deep! So happy to finally have an attractive and soft sheet set for my extra plush bed!

These flannel sheets are very thin and not good quality flannel. What a disappointment. I expected a lot more from LL Bean.
