I purchased this cover to use with LLBean's Baffle-Box, warmer comforter. I washed it twice before using to decrease the amount of shedding expected. I haven't had any problems with it shedding after laundering. I have the driftwood/natural Buffalo plaid and the color goes very well with the light blue walls in my bedroom. I found the best way to get the comforter inside the cover is to start with the cover inside out. My only complaint is that the ties on the inside of the cover are not finished, so they frayed after washing. I remedied that by turning up the ties about a quarter inch and stitching in order to prevent any further fraying. Hopefully, in the future, the manufacturer will finish the ends of the ties with stitching. Other than that, this cover is super soft and adds to the warmth of the down comforter. I'll miss it when I have to pack it away for the spring and summer!

This is not what i consider a comforter. This is a sheet , there is no filling in it . This needs to be specified on the order page. $170 for a sheet , no thanks .

I love ordering from LL Bean! I placed my order last week and received it within 2 days. I got the navy/bay blue cover and it is the exact color as the photo and I washed/dried it right out of the bag just to get the creases out and it washed up beautifully. Hardly any lint in the trap too. Very soft, beautiful color, perfect. I'm very happy with it. I got the matching shams too. Would definitely buy this set again in a heartbeat. Love LL Bean's quality!

For about half the price of comparable duvet cover at a department store, you get great quality and comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanTXfan I should've bought one for myself!
I bought this for my Father, who is already a dedicated L.L.Bean flannel fanatic. It's a duvet cover, but also doubled as a blanket on a trip we recently took. He says it seems to get softer with every wash and I'm seriously considering buying myself a set. The Buffalo Plaid is such a Classic Americana look. L.L.Bean does it again with a timeless product!

I have had these flannel sheets since Christmas 2010. Amazing, soft, cuddly, and warm. A MUST HAVE. I tell EVERYONE about them. Very dense fabric unlike other cheap, thin ones. I need the comforter cover..blue...oh so nice. Enjoy a snowy, winter evening in bed with this flannel.

Just bought this cover to go over the down comforter we also got from LLbean. The cover is comfortable, fits well and looks good. The only complaint is one of the buttons down bottom already fell off and another is loose. Not a big enough problem worth returning but have had similar problems with buttons across other LLbean products.

I love the way this item looks and feels. I bought the coffee color in buffalo plaid and the tone is very warm so it matches my eclectic decor perfectly. I use it to cover an old down comforter and the double/queen size works perfectly on my queen comforter. I bought the sheets that go with it too. Only washed it once so far but am not worried about durability so far.

I ordered the navy buffalo plaid comforter cover and 2 pillow shams - The color of what I received is not even close to the color shown on line or in the catalog - I am returning my items and will be very careful what I order from LL Bean in the future - Not good at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Waterwitch Love it so much I plan on getting another one.
The first one I bought from LL Bean has taken us through many winters and lasted through countless washings and is the main reason I will continue to purchase these flannel comforter covers (and sheets) from LL Bean.
