I just received these pants, and unfortunately they are going right back. I mistakenly ordered before reading the reviews. As mentioned by other reviewers they run short and tight. I am 5' 7" and 139 lbs and I ordered a size 10 Regular. The pants just hit my ankles, which is not too bad, but they are so tight! Unless you prefer your rear to be outlined in your pants, I would not recommend.

I love my pants, now that I reordered a size larger and ordered Medium Tall. Like many others who have left a review here, I discovered these pants run way small. I normally order/wear a size 4. When I received the size 4, I couldn't even zip them up! I spoke with a wonderful sales rep and he helped me with the sizing. Even the size 6 is a tiny bit snug, but the material will stretch a little after wearing. I now consider these one of my favorite pairs of pants and will look into order more in different colors.

I tried these on at the store near me but the 12 which is my my regular size was way too small. I was shocked as I am usually a 12 in pants here. But I thought I'd order the 14 to see how they were and that was perfect. I am 5'4" and 155 so a 12 should fit. These must run small. But they are perfect fit at the size up. Nice lightweight for spring and summer as I wanted. I got khaki and the loden as they were on sale. I'd get them in navy if they had it.

I got these pants in dark loden, a pleasing sort of neutral shade. I was a bit suspicious after reading that the waist ran a bit tight, and I can confirm that it does--a little more room would be great. But the overall fit is flattering and slenderizing. But don't gain weight! As to the length, I got a medium tall because I need a 31 inseam and the regular is only 30 which runs short on me at 5'7". The length is perfect. I wear size 12 at 128 pounds.

Ladies, like many of you, I've been looking for some casual boot-cut chinos. Sadly, these ain't it. I'm 5'7", 135lbs, normally wear an 8 or 10 medium tall. Based on advice from other reviewers, I ordered a size 12 medium-tall (would've ordered a tall, but Bean was out). Nothing about these pants fit; leg length was too short by about 2", rise was waay too long, too loose in the rear, and those rear pockets are REALLY unflattering. I rarely write reviews, but the *ahem* extraordinary fit of these pants motivated me to warn the rest of you to save your return shipping money. Bean: please re-work the fit of these chinos; I will re-order then.

I love these pants. Bootcut pants are always my preference because I find them more flattering. I am 5'1" 138 pounds and the 12P fit me perfectly. They felt slightly tighter than the LLB cords and slightly shorter. However I found the cords would shrink in the wash and these twills have not shrunk. The lighter weight fabric is perfect for the Southern climate. PLEASE, PLEASE add more colors! Navy, black, brown would all be welcome. I would certainly buy them.

Pants fit nice and snug without being too tight. Stretch nicely when I sit down. Make me look just a bit slimmer than I am. What's not to like?

I have probably bought 10 pairs of pants during the past 18 months from L.L,Bean but have never been so pleased as with this pair in Loden Green. The fit is perfect. I see where you have one more color but do wish you had them in black and white too. But, I will order the other color available and just hope it fits as well as the Loden green.

The fit is incredible and the fabric is just right for everyday wear. The boot cut tailoring hides socks and minimizes footwear profiles. I love my wife wearing these around the house, shopping and just relaxing in the yard.
