Rated 2 out of 5 by LLBeanScoutMom WAY too small.
I normally wear a 4P. This fit like a 0P. When I returned it they said their "signature" line ran more true to size?. Not true to LL Bean sizes. Buy at least two sizes larger. Everything else about the shirt was lovely. I was really disappointed that I had to send it back - larger sizes were out of stock.

Sigh, it has to go back! I normally wear a size 4, and I listened to other reviewers and ordered larger.... I ordered a size 8 and unfortunately it's still too small! I would need a size 10 which is 3 full sizes larger than normal. Yikes! It's very beautiful, nice flannel fabric, fitted darts... I am 5'4", 118 lbs, physically active, 34C. The overall fit is very well proportioned, I can't say it's too tight or loose in any particular place, but the overall look is the mirror says "too small" and it doesn't leave any room for shrinkage in the washer. It's a lovely shirt, wish it fit me!

I bought this is the brown/brick/green multi plaid. I'm 5'4", 130lbs, 33A and found a surprisingly good fit with the Petite 4. (I'm on the cusp of Petite and Misses but usually buy Misses.) This top is well made, soft and warm. Although at first glance it seems like a casual flannel it is pretty sophisticated; it has a button down collar after all, :-). I love the slim fit! And the warm tones of the plaid are beautiful.

Perfect fit in length, including sleeve. At 5'3", 130 lbs, I ordered an 8 petite.
Soft fabric and bright, modern plaid pairs well with jeans.

Good heavy fabric. Tailored and slim cut. Love it and wish more colors were available

Rated 4 out of 5 by veeno too short for me
i guess "shrunken" means short and boxy. at least that's what it looked like on me. i"m 5'8" and don't like my sleeves too short or my stomach showing. too bad it wasn't a leaner fit, the fabric/construction was really nice!

I bought this shirt for my mother. She loved the pattern and the silky smooth flannel. She didn't like that the first size I ordered was too small. Order a size up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by suzicruzi2 Beautiful, dressy shirt
This shirt is made very well, and the tailoring is quite dressy for a flannel shirt. You could easily get away with wearing this button down to work in an office setting, as it's quite refined. Unfortunately I'm sending mine back after deciding the fabric, although very lovely, is much too light weight for my taste in a flannel. I also don't need office wear any longer, and the shirt is dressier than I wanted. I was looking for a Holiday colored flannel shirt to layer, and tuck in with jeans, or cords and boots. It's just not "snugly" enough for my taste this time of year. Not LL Beans fault at all.

love this flannel shirt, beautiful colors in the multi and such a soft material. It does run smaller for the size you normally wear but buy a size up or when wearing it a while it does stretch a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sweatersavvy Wonderful flannel shirt
I knew from previous orders of LLBean Signature shirts for women that the fit is tight and have found that by ordering a size up, I'd get the perfect fit. I'm 5'8", 150 lbs. and a 14 fits just right. The mixture of cotton flannel and silk is unusual but the fabric is soft and smooth. The instructions say to line dry and at first it looked like the shirt would dry wrinkly but the wrinkles weren't there by the time it dried. Who wants to iron a shirt for casual wear? Well, you don't have to for this shirt. I bought the bright red plaid as I'd seen it featured in a fashion magazine, and the colors are just wonderful, not gaudy. I'm thinking of ordering this shirt in the brown plaid.
