I love the fabric, the color and the fit. I wish they were available in more colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MtHiker Nice nylon hiking pant, works for curvy women
I selected these pants because wanted them for travel and hiking. I thought they looked nicer than some hiking pants, would be lightweight, would pack well and should dry fairly quickly. I haven't been out hiking in these yet, but expect as a nylon pant they will do well. The material seems to be a pretty good nylon and they seem to be fairly well constructed.
As for the fit, may waist is small in proportion to my hips and I normally wear a size 10 relaxed LLBean Jean which fit pretty good. These nylon pants come the closest to fitting me (and I've tried on a bunch#. Proportionally, they are some bigger in the waist than I prefer but not near as bad as some hiking pants. Since I fit right between the two sizes for these pants according to size charts I tried both a size 10 and a size 12. I found the size 10 was a little snugger through the hips and thighs than I would like so I opted for the size 12 instead. They are a little looser than I would like, but I think I'll be happier at the end of the day #if I ignore the size number).
Maybe some day LLBean will construct some outdoor gear sized like their LLBean Jeans so that us curvy women can have outdoor gear that fits as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TooParticular2 Close to good!
Because I need the 31 inch length I'm rather limited when buying pants from Bean. I must say these were good in that regard. The waist was a little large for a size 6 but I had intended to "make it work" since the length was good. As I was going through the "paces" of looking myself OVER (front and back) I noticed the seam in the "butt" area was wrinkled - took them off and checked everything out and decided they needed to be washed. After the washing it was apparent that the seam had been sewn improperly and was "puckered" through a very large area - needless to say, BACK went the pants! Because they ARE a little large in the waist I've given up on them!

I live in this type of pants, year round in Florida. I am an active gardener, hiker and work out doors. I have a hard time finding pants like these to work in that are not too bagy or not too tight and with the breathable fabic that dries quick. The length is a bit long on me. I ususally use a petit length not regular but I just roll them up. I am short. I am ordering two more pair today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by beagler best travel pants so far
I have been looking for decent looking pants for travel - lightweight & quick drying. Most of the ones I tried were just too baggy and unflattering. These pants are styled nicely. They are comfortable and have deep pockets.

This pants are to be wear during early fall and spring. They will let wind through and cold during winter. So, unless you are wearing a long coat, I wouldn't recommend you to wear this pants during winter. I bought them for my wife and she looks fabulous on them...

super comfortable and just right in the cold air, but the blue seems to be a magnet for golden retriever hair.... still a great pair of pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CollectNoMoss True to size, pack nicely, don't scream "outdoor"
Purchased these pants in a dark color to backpack travel in Central and South America for three months. The fabric, style, and color should do well with constant wear, washing in a bathroom sink, and hanging dry on an in-room clothes line. Really appreciate that the pants weight ounces; not pounds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ervinr needs longer lengths
Bought this item based on size chart. Love them. Very comfortable, but runs a little short. Didn't notice them in a long. Will make sure I purchase long from now on. Ow I did keep them anyways since I got them for jogging.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DarthIndy Great fabric with some drawbacks
The material used is really nice and easy to pack without looking like it has been packed. It has nice stretch and gives free range of leg motion but the waist band does not stretch or give like the rest of the pants. Sadly, the legs are also shorter than all my other LL Bean pants that are listed as regular length which makes them less desirable for outdoor use where I need/want extra coverage against bugs, brush, and sun. If you have a leg length that falls between regular and tall pants, I do not recommend these because their leg length is shorter.
