Rated 4 out of 5 by TiminPA Looks Good, but Not Completely Comfortable
The boots look great. Style and fit are good, but the comfort level of the shoes needs work.
The toe bend area on the top part of the boot is hard from the leather - this should improve over time.
Soles are comfortable and traction is great.
I normally wear size 11.5, but had to go down a half size (probably could have gone down to 10.5).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Windhamainer Worth the moeny (so far)
I started a new job about a year ago and have been searching for an everyday shoe that can stand up for more than 4 months. These are a little pricey, but I think I have found a winner. Really impressed so far after having them for a month. The comfort and style is there, and the durability seems to be. I'll update in a few months.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Haasome Good shoe - could easily be great.
This is a very good shoe: very nice looking and well-made. The color and stitching is nice and the foot bed is exceptionally comfortable. The shoe also has a nice sole that grips well. If this shoe were priced $75-$100, it would be as expected. However, to qualify as a more expensive shoe it needs some improvements. The ankle collar needs a little padding, the leather is stiff (not supple in the least), the tongue doesn't have a centering loop to prevent the tongue from slipping off to the side, I would prefer the tongue be the same color as the rest of the shoe (not reddish), and the shoe runs a little large. I have the low version of these shoes and that version runs true to size and has a padded ankle collar. The leather on that version is also stiff and the color is off (a little greenish), but still qualifies for 4 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Farmman great casual shoe
I have worn these for about 6 months through the winter. They were extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. All the Merrell shoes that I have are high quality and wear well. This one is lighter than most but has worn well. The price is high but you get what you pay for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jtothec great shoe - durability in question
Love the shoe, very comfortable and stylish. I had to send them back and get a new pair because the sole was delaminating from the base. LLbean sent m eout a new pair right away. Great customer service. I wish the shoe was a little more durable.

Great boot for casual kickin around town. Great color too. I like the grip treads because they are not bulky. A light well constructed boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GrampaDew Excellant quality, but........
These shoes appear to be of excellant quality, but after wearing them for a couple hours, the top edges of the sides rubbed against my ankles causing them to become very red and sore. Very uncomfortable, had to return them for a different style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gilfoyle good looking and comfortable
I had been looking for a pair of chukka's for casual wear and jeans. So far, they have been great. They are good looking, surprisingly light weight and extremely comfortable right out of the box. They also seem to be well constructed. The only negative is that they are a bit wide for my foot, but that is my problem not the shoes, since my feet tend to be more on the narrow side.I ordered a size ten and the length is fine.
