I purchased a pair of these about two years ago. After about 18 months of walking mostly in bottomland forests in East Texas and in the mud and through streams, the boots developed a leak near the inside of the shoe near the ball of the foot. I contacted LaCrosse and they told me the warranty is only good for a year. So if you want to pay over 150 dollars for a boot that will last about a year and a half, go ahead. I am taking my money elsewhere. Thumbs down on these. Not a good buy.

These boots run a little small. I ended up usingg the next size up. They fit tight. Using two plastic bags and a boot puller, works Great! LL Bean should carry boot pullers for their customers. JPMcSR - Hanover, CT

Rated 4 out of 5 by KBIZZ Great Boot - Just a tad big overall
Was a great boot, just not quite for my purpose. I bought these to deer hunt in the negative wind chill. I loved them, just were a tad too big overall. These were massive compared to what I was looking for and had seen in stores (I had seen other Alphas but might have been a smaller overall model)... Did not feel safe climbing a treestand

I ordered these boots for the 2014 deer season in Virginia. I can truly testify these are the warmest boots I have ever worn in a treestand. I have hunted some very cold days from the teens to low 20's so far this season, and with 2 pair of socks on, my feet have stayed toasty warm. I would definitely recommend buying a quality pair of redhead socks to go with these boots. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. They were expensive, but you get what you pay for. I am hopeful the rubber will hold up for years and not crack and dry rot like other brands.

Purchased these boots a week ago and have worn them in 12" of snow and 10-20 degree weather and they always kept me warm and dry. I bought them online and they were larger than expected, which I thought would be a problem walking through the woods, but after about 100 yards of walking they felt just like wearing hiking boots. Great boots for the stand and going scent free.

These boots are great. Very high quality. I take a size 12. I bought size 12 and they fit perfect. Worn with a light to medium sock, there is still room for a toe warmer if necessary. If you prefer very heavy socks, you may want to consider a size up. However, thery seem to be plenty insulated so a very heavy sock would not be needed in my opinion. They hug your angle very well and do not slip when walking. I have always been a muck boot guy, but these boots far surpass the muck boots in my opinion. When my lighter weight muck boots wear out, I'll be buying LaCross!! You can't go wrong with this boot.
