I ADORE this sweater. I bought an XS in Vintage Rose Heather. It manages to be both absolutely lovely and feminine on the one hand, and yet on the other hand there's a casual, rustic look to it. The various types of stitchery are beautiful. I wish I knew the names of them, especially the ones in the yoke area, which are my favorite. The lining is not plaid as stated (yay!), but a subdued stripe. The pockets are useful for a credit card in one and a lipstick and doubled Kleenex in the other. And the fit! The Beanean gods must have heard my plea - at last a sweater fitted to my tiny torso. It's an absolutely perfect fit. And then there's my favorite feature - the collar. You can actually button it up to form a turtleneck - hides a multitude of sins (and chins - no, not me!).
It was as I was examining this marvelous collar that I noticed: there are knots at the front of the collar points on both undersides. Sure, they don't show from on top, but they could easily be abraded when laundering and come unraveled. Why oh why did they put the knots on the front edge? So the question became, do I exchange it or live with it? I've actually had exchanges where the replacement proved to be worse than the original. This problem has been so onerous that I am both weary and leery of exchanges. This sweater fit perfectly. What if its replacement did not? So one day before the weather turned warm, I put it on and wore for the first time, months after I bought it. I loved it and wore it for a whole week anywhere I could. I have decided to keep it, baby it, wash it on delicate or by hand if I have to, even get it mended locally if necessary - I love it that much.
Yes, I should take off a star or two for this imperfection. But it's not the sweater's fault, it's a quality control issue. Wish I could take some stars off the quality control person.

I am in my low 50's and I like clothing that is tasteful and classic. I like lines that flatter my figure and I do not like "frumpy"; ever. This sweater fits that description perfectly. I chose the driftwood heather color. It is beautifully made. It looks expensive.

I ordered an XL and the sweater itself is just wonderful but the fit was smaller than I expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by veganrocker Nice but a bit of an odd fit
Really like this sweater (beautiful coral color, lovely fabric, quality construction). Fit is tight but shape is boxy....bought my usual M size, and the length worked for me as a petite 5"1 individual.

Ordered this in the oatmeal color and it coordinates nicely with with other clothing. Good fit and very comfortable. Great for a light cover for busy inside shopping and will be nice for a transition to spring.
