Rated 5 out of 5áby ShortandKindaPudgy Great shirt - casual or workout
Very hard to find t-shirts with some decent weight to them (doesn't show off my muffin top). Even though this shirt is made with wool, it's comfortable and doesn't feel cheap. I appreciate the crew neck and don't mind it at all. Just wish these came in other colors (raspberry pink? avocado green? bright blue?). Thank you LLBean for making this nice item. Keep this one in your future inventory :-)

Rated 5 out of 5áby workinprogress Please make in more colors + long sleeves!
This is a terrific T-shirt, whether worn under a turtleneck on cool days, or by itself on "cool-ish" days. It's amazing what a range of temperatures it can keep you comfortable in. Recently I wore it as a base layer, under a cotton turtleneck, all covered by a windbreaker for an afternoon in San Francisco. This area has warm sun, cold Pacific winds, and wide swings of temp's during the day. Carried a fleece but didn't have to use it until after sundown. Good for any shore area with lots of sun+wind.
BUT PLEASE, LLBEAN, MAKE THIS IN MORE COLORS, AND WITH AN OPTION FOR LONG SLEEVES!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Pequawket Great Find This Winter!
I am so happy I tried this Dri-Release Wool Thermal Tee when I saw it offered as a Two-a-Day Markdown item in November. I ordered one in rose and two in black, giving a black one to my 22-year-old daughter, who lives in Boston, where she walks a lot in the windy cold weather.
We both flipped over how nice and toasty they kept us, without being itchy. The shirts are comfortable and my skin can "breathe" while wearing them, so I don't get overheated. The size small fit us both perfectly.
I took a chance and ordered two more in Mountain Green, one for my hubby and one for daughter's boyfriend. They also both love them! The boyfriend wears his constantly, and it is a great layer under the beautiful oatmeal Bean sweater daughter gave him for Christmas.
Finally, when the shirts came up again on the 2-a-day, I could not resist another purchase, this time one in black and two in rose, one of which I gave same daughter for Valentine's Day and she was estatic!
The 11% wool is just perfect, IMO, and I am obviously a very satisfied (and warm) customer!!!

When I put the shirt on it felt itchy & scratchy not at all soft and comfortable. Maybe it has to be this way to be a thermal Dri-release shirt. Once I had it on for a while it got better. The shirt is well made and looks good. I'm keeping it because I got it on sale and it would cost more to ship back then to get my money back.

Rated 5 out of 5áby CarolCola Thermal tees work great during power outage!
I bought all three of these & I love them, they wash & wear well, roll up small to carry in a pack, & can be worn as a T-shirt or as a layer under other shirts, sweaters etc. I bought large & XL & can't really tell the difference in size, both fit pretty close, which one would want if using as a layer. I even wore one under fleece PJs when the power went out. Worked great.

I have 2 smart wool micro weight tshirts that I love. I thought this was a similar item (WOOL). It is mostly polyester with a little wool. BUT it's really nice looking and soft. I ordered a small (5'8 130 lbs ) which is my normal LLBEAN size. And it fits like I would want a t-shirt to fit but it's kind of big / bulky to be a under layer. I was concerned about the neck fitting tightly but it's very comfortable. I can't decide if I should keep the S (the length is perfect) or try the XS for a tighter less bulky fit. Either way it's a really nice soft undershirt. I just wish they published the fabric make up in the description.

Rated 5 out of 5áby FightRSDnCRPS Love this Thermal Tee!
I absolutely LOVE these thermal tees! They are wonderful for layering because they keep you warm when used as a base layer, but they also look great when worn alone if you have to shed your outer layers. I also appreciate the fact that these tees have short sleeves; the short sleeves don't feel so cumbersome when worn with several other layers. The material is VERY soft and comfortable, and they seem to launder well; all mine look great even after being washed several times. These tees are also nicely shaped to fit a woman's body, but they are not too tight to be unflattering or uncomfortable. I like them so much, that I ordered all three colors as well as duplicates. I ordered the men's version for my husband, and he loves them too. The men's version is more box shaped like an ordinary t-shirt (as they should be for men), but they are still very comfortable and warm. I like these thermal tees much that I have "stolen" my husband's to wear as a night shirt on several occasions. I guess I will have to buy "him" a couple more too.

I just got this thermal tee. Open the package and put it on right away. Feels very comfortable. It is especially good when wear underneath a V neck sweater. I ordered a black one, I think that would go with most color.
I hope it washes well and does not require special handling. I wanted to order another one in beige.

After reading reviews describing the snug cut on this thermal tee I worried about ordering the black in my usual M in LL Bean tops. I am 5' 6" and 170 lbs and loved the fit and length of the M straight away. The high cut neckline took some getting used to but now I appreciate the coverage. My core stays toasty warm with this layering piece and I'm back online to order another color. I'm happy I took a chance on this!

Love the feel of this and the subtle warmth. Doesn't get stinky. I don't want to take it off. Washes well. Wish there were more colors, though. And please make it in long sleeve! Does run a bit small - I am between a M and L and the L was perfect.
