I normally wear size 11-M and these were true to size. Good looking and great walking shoes plus I got an additional store markdown which made it an even better purchase. Can't go wrong with Rockports for comfort. May 7, 2013

BY FAR the most comfortable shoes that i have had in many years, the insole was amazing when I first tried on at the Store. Unlike many insoles there still as good today as they were when they were new. I have used these shoes for everything from city walking, to running(slowly), and even hiking, I even wore them hunting (woods were dry) one day. The sole of the shoe gives you a real feel to the ground and is very flexible. As a Maine Guide I know what it takes for something to live up to expectations, this does. I am so confident in these shoes that I would go any place with them even to the top of Katahdin. October 25, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by DogCatMom Very Comfortable Shoe I bought these in the leather version for my teen-aged son, who needed shoes acceptable for a school uniform. He is very particular about the feel of his shoes and finds even typical leather loafers to be uncomfortable, so shopping for school shoes can be quite a challenge. He chose these Rockports as the most comfortable of several pairs of shoes he tried from the L.L. Bean store. They seem to be even more comfortable than other Rockport styles he has had. After a week and a half of school, still no complaints (not about the shoes anyway) and that makes them well worth the price! September 1, 2012

They fit well, provide good support and cushioning while walking, and have a nice casual but refined appearance. Couldn't be happier with the shoe. August 24, 2012
