Rated 5 out of 5 by WAtraveler Attractive Rain Jacket
Rain jackets are imperative in the Pacific Northwest. This may be my all-time favorite based on its versatility and attractive style. I have another H2OFF jacket with removable hood and definitely prefer the attached hood styling for comfort and style. This is a quality jacket with many features. While the price is high, its versatility makes the price worth the extra cost. The pleated back is not bulky. Overall, a flattering rain jacket. The light mocha is a nice color, not a khaki.

My go to coat until the weather gets too cold. Love the more recent styling with the pleat and button in the back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimberwick Walk with a Friend in the Rain
Living in the rainy Willamette Valley, this coat is ideal for walking the dog in inclement weather. The sleeves of the peitite are just about the right length (not reaching past my fingertips). The hood is a little too generous in size but I pull it over a baseball cap and I'm good to go. I ordered a roomy size large so I can add and subtract layers appropriate for the outing with my dog. Love the two-way zipper and I like to snug in the waist a bit to give the coat some shape. Very pleased with the coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Salsa Attractive & Dry!
This jacket is attractive. After getting feed up with jackets that claim to be "water repellant", yet leave me soaked, I decided to try "waterproof." This jacket really does keep me dry in a heavy rain and it is a nice dark black. It doesn't leave me feeling hot and sticky during warm rains and it can be used with a sweater in cooler weather. This is traveling with me when I go to rainy parts of the world! I am pleased. I believe this runs a bit large, but I wanted this to be roomy enough to allow it to be worn over a sweater.

I like the silky material and it's updated style. The length is perfect and I love the button closure on the cuffs. The sizing is perfect on this jacket and I will enjoy wearing it!

Caveat: I haven't had occasion to wear this yet. particularly in a downpour. I bought it to replace my decades-old L.L.Bean Gortex rain jacket, which kept me dry as the Sahara for years. But the finish must have worn off, because lately when wearing it in a deluge while hiking with my dog I have reached home rather damp in the shoulders. I am truly hoping my new rain parka keeps me as dry as my old one did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BarbaraDLLBean Fit a bit smaller than I like
I ordered a size L, but I am returning it for a XL. The overall fit was a bit snug, especially the shoulders. Given that I will probably wear a sweater under it I need a roomier fit. The sleeve length is usually my issue, but the sleeves on this coat were perfect. With the XL I'm guessing that the sleeves will be a bit longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by yorktownbean Love the style, not the price
I've been desperately searching for a hooded (attached) raincoat for months now and finally decided to try this one since the McIntosh Coat is still unavailable. I normally wear an XL petite and that is what I ordered. The style looks fantastic on me but the fit is not as relaxed as I had hoped based on other reviews and given that I would want to wear a thick sweater under it at times and I prefer a roomier fit in rain gear. I can't wear larger sizes in regular length due to the waist band in the back that would fall too low on my hips and the other version of this coat had the detachable hood and cheap looking buttons on the back of the waist.
I am keeping this coat because I need it this week but I don't believe this coat is worth the full price that I paid for it and I'd be much much happier with the coat if I had paid about 1/4 to half the price. For an expensive rain parka, the fabric seems cheap and VERY noisy. I only had the coat on for a few minutes over my flannel shirt and when I took it off, realized that my upper back was damp from perspiration which is something that never happens to me and I'm concerned this will cause me to become too cold if I'm out in the cold weather for any extended time. I am also concerned that it might not transition well from outside to indoors without having to take it off since it's so warm ( outside to a store). I definitely won't be wearing this in the warmer months of the year.
All aside, it's a nice looking coat (in flat black) and fits me well and flatters my mid-age figure. Just feel that I paid way too much for it.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. It is comfortable, the length that is good for rainy or cold weather, and thin enough to wear a sweater or sweatshirt and tee underneath.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ClevelandGal Waterproof and roomy Rain Parka
I agree with other reviewers that this runs really big. I'm usually between a small and a medium, so I ordered a small. I had to send it back and get an extra-small. That's a first for me. The extra-small fits fine now, and still has room for a light layer. I think I will be happy with it. I wore it once and it seems waterproof and comfortable. It seems a little pricey for what you get, though. I got it in black, and I like that you can dress it up or down.
