We've taken our favorite military details from a vintage sweater and recreated them in a lightweight cotton/wool blend. Band collar with authentic military placket and horn buttons. Ribbed hem and cuffs. Imported.

Rated 3 out of 5�by BillfromNY BODY TOO LONG FIRST, by way of comparison (Everyone should include this when writing about product sizing!!!): I ordered a size medium in Regular (NOT Tall). My measurements are 73.5" tall, 41" chest, 15.5 neck, 34" sleeve length, 32" waist, 163bs. I really like this sweater, but the body is TOO LONG by about an inch or two. It's down to my crotch. The sleeves are more than long enough for me, but I don't mind cuffing them (in fact, I might even like cuffing them), so no problem there. I played with cuffing the bottom of the sweater, but then the care label and spare buttton sewn to the inside seam hung out. If I pull the bottom up, then the sweater bunches and puffs out around the sides, turning my V shape into a pear shape. Probably sending it back. Too bad, because I liked the quality. But I would recommend it highly for someone with a longer torso than I have. November 16, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5�by beanfan123fj2932 Much better than the mechanic sweater Compared to the Mechanic sweater, this is sized correctly (for sweaters) and fits just like it shows in the picture. A little loose around the waist, but it doesn't billow or bunch up like the mechanic sweater does. for a 6'2"/175 athletic build man, I ordered down like I typically do in sweaters (so they fit tighter) and ordered a medium. Fits well. Not perfect, but well. The large would have been too baggy. This is the better slim fitting product of the two because it isn't as thick as the mechanic sweater--meaning that it can morph to your body shape more easily and it won't be confined to its own rigid shape due to its thickness. The material feels nice. A little itchy against the skin (wearing a t-shirt under), must be the wool, but if you wear a dress or sport shirt underneath, it takes that problem away. A solid product.
