I absolutely LOVE these boots:) I ordered my usual size 8.5M and the fit is perfect with a nylon sock. The heel is higher than I normally wear but since the other reviews were so positive I thought I'd try them and so glad I did. The sole is so incredibly cushiony comfortable that I can see getting lots of walking/use out of these stylish boots. Very flattering leg lengthening look with slim pants. The contrasting laces are really fun and my two young adult daughters love them too .... I'm ordering them their own so I don't lose mine!

So glad to see LLB is selling some very stylish boots! These are VERY comfortable and look very good. I love the heels and they feel and fit very well. I hope they start to sell more (high heels!) like this!! Very hot! They come with red laces and tan ones. I am using the default ones, the red. Nice! They need a little breaking in but regardless, are very comfy already.

those shoes not only look good but are extremely comfortable,usually i do not buy anything with less than a 1.5 platform height, especially if the heel is 4 inches or higher,as they are not comfortable for walking(maybe standing but not walking,too much impact/pounding on the ball of the feet.)
As another buyer noted,whomever designed those shoes did a superb job because although the platform is not 1.5,the shoes are very comfortable,it does not feel like you are wearing a 4 inch heel,not at all.
I first bought the "white/blue shoelaces""birtch? and then upon trying out my first pair,i bought the brown pair.
both colors are pretty neutral in my opinion,the white pair more on the cool spectrum and more"dressy" and the brown more on the warm side"sporty" but both equally neutral,they look beautiful with jeans.
not cheap but well worth the money as they are great looking shoes,well constructed and very comfortable

LOVE the way this book looks. It appeals to my fashion eclecticism-- and yet it's exceptionally comfortable despite the high heel - which means that there is some great designer behind this shoe! The contrasting laces are smart. The mushroom color is lighter than the photo- and don't buy the white.. you will regret it the first time you get some damage or dirt on them. Comfy, a smart design that doesn't pitch you forward, nifty thick tread that means you won't slip .. well worth the $200 price tag.

Great boot but they are a bit tippy. The toe is very short/rounded. I found just standing in them the toe area need to be longer to balance out the shoe and heel height. I am returning them for a half size larger hoping they will be more stable.

I ADORE the styling of these boots, particularly the red ice skate laces. The one shortcoming is the plastic heel which made me slip several times on my first outing. Being an LL Bean product I am surprised that this material was specified for the heel (especially on such a high one!?!). It is inconsistent with the perfect thick rubbery lug sole. After one wearing I replaced that plastic for a rubber heel. A small modification made perfect boots. Buy these and head to the shoe repair before you go out in them.

i absolutely LOVE these shoes. i bought them instantly without even considering my wardrobe, and so far all i've worn them with are jeans, but they look great. and they feel even better - the curved sole makes walking a breeze - you won't feel like you're wearing heels at all. the leather around the ankle takes a couple wears to break in, so it's going to be uncomfortable at first, but it's definitely worth it.

My daughter age 16 and I (a bit older) both love our boots! The heel is high but they are surprisingly comfortable. The colors are a tad odd; I have the one that looks brown online, but is more of a khaki; it did need leather treatment because it showed any water spots; the birch did not. We love the style!
