Rated 5 out of 5 by LittleBill Great Shoes!
I have to respectfully disagree with reviewer 'villanofun'--- I love the style of these, don't find them the least bit bulky-looking. And, I love the color as well. Of course, everyone's taste is different; but to my eyes, these are a fine looking pair of shoes. And as other reviewers have noted, very well-made.
At the sale price, a great bargain for handsewn shoes. Highly recommended.

This is a solid built shoe, the quality is excellent and the color is rich.
My wife loved the shoe and was very impressed as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by villanofun Somewhat Disappointing
I was eager to see the shoes from LL Bean's new Signature line, since I'm generally impressed by the quality of LL Bean's products. The Oxford shoes were somewhat disappointing, however. The quality of the construction seemed to be good, but the cut of the shoe and its coloring is off. In my judgement, the shoe is too bulky, which gives it a clumsy, bootish feel that jars with the dress Oxford style. The color of the leather had an unmistakeable purple hue, and it wasn't cordovan, as advertised. Therefore, I decided to return the shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ConstantLLBeanShopper Great Work Shoe
The shoe looks great and is perfect for my work needs. Fits a bit tight at first and definitely needs to be broken in, but becomes more comfortable with time and use. Looks fantastic and dresses up the overall outfit quite nicely. So glad I bought this pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rpiotr01 Excellent shoe
A well executed oxford. Sole is sewn on, heel is nailed in tight. Nice height. Everything feels rock solid. Color is more of a burgundy than a true cordovan, but that's OK. It's rich enough that it doesn't look cheap. The accents are a nice touch without being overbearing. Insole is comfortable out of the box, but the rest of the shoe will take a little breaking in.
Overall, very well done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nagesh Love the looks but, imported?
I am disappointed that an L.L.Bean, especially when I look in Signature collection, I find that it is imported. More sad that this is the only one that fits on a suit and I can't have it made right here in Maine. Oh, well. I will wait till we bring it back to home - the reason it was successful.
