Rated 5 out of 5�by BenL Great Pair of Boots These are my new favorite casual boots. I bought them because I like the look and style, sort of like a really tall boat shoe. I feel that the taller boots let my pants fall better and not bunch at the bottom, so I've had a couple of pairs from other popular brands, but these are the best by far. These boots are also really comfortable for this kind of shoe. They look great with jeans and chinos, no matter the color. All around great-looking, comfortable pair of boots. Well done L.L. Bean, you haven't failed me yet. February 15, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5�by uadezeen disapointed the look and design of these boots is amazing unfortunately the manufacturing is not. upon closer inspection i notice that the leather in the areas were is has been hand sewn seems to have been cut with razors because it has slashes where most likely the leather will eventually and quickly rip. also, there are glue smear marks in several areas of the boot. seems like my right boot was made by a different person than the left boot because of the different in craftsmanship. Rated 3 out of 5�by EasternerintheMidWest Stretch out one whole size These boots are unique and very comfortable. I have had a couple of issues. First, I had to send two pair back due to manufacturing defects, one with the sole and one with the stitching. Second they stretch out a lot, at least one whole size. After wearing these for a 6 months I have to either buy a new pair a size smaller, or wear really thick socks and use an inner sole. September 7, 2011
