As noted, these run very small -- I ordered a size up and they fit fine, but they didn't feel at all like cords -- rather were lightweight twills -- to light for winter wear, so I returned them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sweetheart Very thin material and sized too small
I was very disappointed in the quality and fit of these pants. I bought these same pants a couple of years ago in the exact same size and they still fit great so I was so disapointed when I tried these new ones on and could not zip them, plus the quality is not nearly what my older ones are. I will pay more attention to the reviews before I buy any more L.L. Bean clothes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bostonshopper617 Bizarre fit
These pants had the oddest fit. I bought what the size chart indicated would be the correct size, and I discovered that the waist was three sizes too big and the thighs were a size too small. It seems these pants were designed for some who looks roughly like an inverted triangle... I was also a little disappointed in the quality. The pants seemed a little thin and unsupple, especially for supposedly premium pants.

I received a gift card and used it to make my first LL Bean purchase.
Upon receipt of my slacks I was totally impressed with the quality and styling of the boot stretch cords. I love them! The only issue is the slacks run smaller than sized. I wear a size 14 and ordered a size up and they are really snug for a stretch fabric.

I like the fact that you are offering pants in smaller sizes. These pants fit so well it is all I can do not to order more! The only thing that would be nice is if the were just a tad longer or one could choose a length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by citygrrl great fitting, soft corduroy
Finally a pair of size 2 corduroys that really fits me in the seat, hips and thighs. I'm going to buy two more in the other colors. It's the first time I found a pair of LL Bean pants that fit me so well. Thanks for making some designs for smaller, narrower bottoms.

Rated 3 out of 5 by alburtise great color but...
... this stretch corduroy fabric is so thin. I have some Bean corduroys from a couple years ago and they are MUCH more substantial. I'm afraid these pants will hold their wrinkles because there's just not much heft to the fabric. Luckily I got these on sale or I would be returning them. The bronze color is great, and in general I lean toward the Signature styles since the regular line has gotten so unbearably boring. But I don't want to sacrifice quality for style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Happy25y Love these pants
I love the thin wale and the rich black color. My recommendation is to order a size up. Generally I take a size 8 regular in LL Bean pants. However, the Signature line seems to run somewhat smaller. So I bought a 10 regular, which were a bit long. But it is worth the tailoring! I plan to order them in the bright navy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bikerintheburbs So disappointing!
I really wanted these pants to work, but they didn't. Though I usually wear a size 4 (I'm 5'4" about 120), I thought I'd order the petite 6 too because I always hem the regulars. It turned out both were uncomfortably and unbecomingly tight. As I expected the size 4 was about 3" too long; the 6 petite was ankle length. Because the fabric was so thin I didn't bother to exchange them for a larger size.
