This is a versatile top for a wide range of temperatures. I got a size small, which fits well and is not too tight. I've worn this as a standalone top for daily wear, but it's also an excellent layering piece for all-weather skiing. I wore it as a middle layer for cold temps or as a single base layer for warmer temperatures. Keeps me warm but breathes well as the afternoon heats up.

The Color that is on the webpage does not match the actual color of the shirt very well. I got a medium because I wanted to make sure the sleeves were long enough, but the shirt itself is a little large now. This was also not the material/texture that I expected it to be when looking at the webpage either. I will still use it as a base layer, just a baggier one.

This is an awesome jacket. Perfect for running, or using as a base layer for colder days. I would definitely recommend it to others. I'm 5'8" and 120 lbs., so I bought this jacket in a SMALL, and it fits perfectly.

I'm working on film set that involves hours of shooting in cold, wet conditions. I'm using this shirt and the matching pants as a base layer. The pros: Exactly the right weight for autumn, comfortable, flattering, and dries quickly. The cons: The stitching on the hem of the shirt began to unravel minutes after I put it on, and when the shirt (black) got damp the dye leaked horribly and bled all over my underwear (thoroughly ruined). I want to love this set--and in some ways, I do--but I'm rather disappointed in these issues, neither of which should have passed quality control.

I bought this item for my wife based on how much I've enjoyed the men's version of this product.
She likes the material and fit, but the collar is really odd. I recommend getting the expedition weight - it is warmer, more comfortable and the collar looks much better.

This Polartec Power Dry Base Layer is great for running in chilly weather. It keeps me warm enough but yet, not wet from sweating. Excellent quality! I feel good in it and that makes me want to exercise more to be healthy!

First I will echo many other reviewers and mention a couple negatives - 1. it snags very easily and after one wear the wrist area had several snags. 2. the fabric and seams are not as soft as other base layers I've had but after being washed, it didn't bother or rub (and I have sensitive skin). 3. it runs a full size too big. I'm usually a large across the board and I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. For these reasons I took a star off, but it still deserves 4 stars for all the positives. The zipper guard is great for the plastic not rubbing on your neck. The fit is perfect - some say the arms are too big and while they are not snug at all, I like my skin having some breathing room so that is a plus for me. Most of all they kept me perfectly warm on a 20 degree ski day. Not too bulky under my ski clothes. And the price! You can't beat it.

It keeps me warm without weight. I wear it under another heavier fleece when I run in cold weather and I've been comfortable. I look forward to trying it out during ski season. I like the quarterzip to be able to regulate ventilation/temp. the arms run a little short for the thumb holes, so folks with longer arms might want to reconsider.

This Polartec Power Dry Base Layer is a wonderful shirt. I am using not only for skiing as a base layer but also every day wear. It is so nice and soft and it regulates your temperature that you never get to hot exercising in the shirt. Would recommend this shirt to anyone.
