I ordered these for my husband. The waist line fits, but the legs are way too loose. It will probably fit if you have big thigh. It won't be able to capture the heat... kinda defeat the purpose of a base layer. The same problem happened to the women style too. These are going back unfortunately,,,,, very disappointed....!!

excellent fit & feel ... just the right amount of extra warmth for me, not as hot as some base layers.

The pants did fit great and were comfortable. But... they were not warm. They were worn for a short time on a cool, breezy day, but just didn't keep the legs as warm as they should've even for a lightweight layer.

I bought these base layer pants for my son, who is 6'4" with a 36" inseam length. As soon as he tried them on, he loved them, and the next day he ranted even more. He's very thin, and the house is cold, but now he's cozy. The base layer shirt I bought also is very comfortable, he says.

The polartec shirts aren't too bad but the pants are TERRIBLE. There are no cuffs on the bottom so when you pull on your outer pant, up they go plus they let a lot of air in. They are not form fitting at all.
For skiing or any outdoor use these are a definite thumbs down.

My working life has been at sea and on the water front. This light weight Polartec base layer is perfect for my work. As a hunter I don't go into the woods in winter without putting these on. They do not make my clothes tight and add enough warmth to keep me comfortable outside and not too much for long periods spent inside.

I live in southern California and these lightweight pants don't keep my legs warm enough around the house even when temps are in the 60s. I'm a cyclist (bicycle not motorcycle), and I have base layer under shirts that are very thin but fit snugly. They keep me plenty warm. The LL Bean pants fit loose, more like pajamas and they slide slightly across my legs when I walk, which is an odd feeling. I'm an average 5'10", 180-pound male. My legs are substantial from cycling. If these fit closer to the body, they might work better. I'm disappointed.

I ordered these, along with a pair of Duofolds, to replace my old, well-worn DF's. As soon as I put them on, I noticed the fabric pulling the length of my leg as I flexed. And it happened every time I moved. I'm sure it wasn't a defect, because the seams were straight. But they never found a relaxed place on my legs. That's a real basic feature for an under layer.
I sent them back and kept the Duofolds.

My husband works in and out of a utility truck. The lightweight long underwear pants are perfect, and he is very pleased.
