Rated 4 out of 5 by orienteerNY Good Value but too short
I've had the shirt for a year but find myself choosing to wear my much older "premium" wool shirt rather than this shirt. The body is too short and doesn't stay tucked in which exposes the lower back to the cold. Another 2 inches would be great. The thumb holes come in handy for layering under a sweater or keeping the wrists covered with gloves. It isn't as soft as my "premium" shirt, but it is still plenty soft to wear against bare skin.
This is a good value for a Merino wool shirt and is well made, just a tad short in the body.

I am wearing this right now. Fit was great, wonderful look, and it is warm and soft. I use it more as an underlayer in the cold rather than for working out, but I am tremendously pleased.

I'm 6', 215#, it fit great, sleeves and trunk long enough. Warm enough. Sipper not a problem at the neck. Works great under a sweater or heavy shirt in cold weather. I'f buy another. Only suggestion is eliminate the red stitching and have it all black.

Rated 4 out of 5 by somethingoriginal short through torso
I wear a 16 32/33 shirt and 42S coat. The medium base layer fit great everywhere but through the torso. Definitely seems a little short. I wont be putting this in the dryer even on a low setting.
5'7" and 155 lbs.

Great fitting shirt. Like the black and red stitching and would like to see more colors so I can buy a few more!

I'm a woman but men's long underwear (and shorts) fit me better than most women's - the longer legs, arms, and torso make a huge difference for my comfort. The fit on this shirt is great and I love the details. The top of the zipper is covered, so it doesn't rub on my chin. The little thumb holes are discrete so I can use them ... or not, depending on the situation.
I was worried about the wool itching but once this shirt is on for a few seconds, you don't even think about it. It was comfortable, warm, and not too thick.

Comfortable and warm, yet like most LLBean tops it's cut for the husky. I'm 6'2'', 165', 42" chest, 36" sleeve; the large/tall fit well after washing and tumble drying to shrink.

This is my go to top when it starts getting a little chilly. I've got a few Capilene Ts, but I choose this one first every time. I've also got the mid-weight, but there hasn't been a day where it was cold enough to wear it. I got soaked by a sudden rain a couple of weeks ago and I was dry again almost as soon as the rain had stopped. Oh, and thumb holes rock.

Fabulous Fit. Bought together with Cresta Midweight Pants. I think you will like this Lightweight under your jacket, sweater, and the like, and the Midweight under your pants:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by RobFromBuffalo Best base layer
I used this as a base layer for snowboarding last winter. From 50F-30F I used just an outer shell and this layer. Below that down to 5F I added a sweatshirt. No shrinkage I could see in the wash. Absolutely no itching.
