Rated 5 out of 5 by Schneed Wetsuit Performs Well
This wetsuit was the best of four I have used over 30 years. Zippers on both sleeves and legs made it easy to put on and take off. Water did not penetrate the zippers because of material on either side of the zippers. The wet suit was extremely flexible and very useful in 40 degree F water for four hours on two different occasions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ottertrack Size chart needs revision
The sizing chart for this item is not accurate. I am 5'10" and weigh 170 pounds, so figured a large size would fit perfectly. Not so! An extra large would have been more appropriate. I've never worn an extra large anything! So, I returned the wetsuit and purchased locally. And, please note, I had to purchase extra large!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AnnieBV Men's wetsuit
I ordered this wetsuit for my husband to match the women's suit I bought for myself - he loved it! It worked perfectly during our recent trip to Costa Rica where we surfed and went diving. Very good quality suit.

Fits OK. I had reservations since I had trouble with other wetsuits fitting. Seems like a good product, though I haven't had the chance to physically try it in the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OutOfDoors21 Great Suit
One very unique thing about this wetsuit is the zippered wrists and ankles, which I've never seen on another wetsuit. These make getting in and out of the wetsuit SO much easier, which is really a blessing when you're shivering in the parking lot trying to change after a surfing session. One drawback to this might mean that they let more water in through the wrists and ankles, but I've yet to find this a problem.
Overall, great suit. It kept me warm on a recent surfing trip to the Canary Islands (in December), and a surfing trip to Cornwall, UK in October.
This thickness (3mm/2mm) is what they call a 'Summer Wetsuit' in the UK (winter suits are 5mm/3mm). For winter usage, I have a 2mm 'Jacket' and shorts to go underneath and provide extra insulation.

Size large wetsuit too tight, and size X-lg
too tall. Now if they made an X-lg for
200 lb-5 foot 7's it would be "GREAT"
Other than that these are really nice
wetsuits

Rated 5 out of 5 by WTMPwner Great buy all around
I bought this before doing World's Toughest Mudder. I was very satisfied with how warm it kept me throughout the event (I was swimming through ice cold water). i wore it for the entire course, and did find it hard to get a good breath in while running, but it wasn't made for that. Kept in great shape throughout all of the rigorous obstacles (feel free to look them up.)

We are a family of 5, who purchased one for each of us. They worked great on our recent diving trip. And with L.L. Bean's lifetime guarantee, how could you go wrong?

Rated 5 out of 5 by LakeSuperiorSwimmer Works for me
The 3-2 full suit worked well and allowed about 3-4 hours of snorkeling in about 55-60 degree water. Fingers got a little cool and should have gotten some thin gloves to go along with the suit. Suit size of XL was perfect for 5'11" 190# me with slight pot belly. The large would probably have been too small. Zippered wrist and ankle areas seems to help a lot in getting in and out easily. Very happy with quality, fit and materials. The price was appropriate, good. Excellent choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fussywillie Bean's full wet suit review
I have been using Bean's full wet suits for the past 20 years. I swim in the St. Louis Bay in Superior, Wisconsin daily from May until Ocotber. They typically last 5 years, but I consider this to be excellent considering the wear and tear that I put them through. Today I ordered my 5th consecutive suit. If warmth, flotation and durability are primary concers I would recommend this suit to anyone.
