I love merrell's and my old merrells are still very warm. These Decora boots do not keep my feet warm at all. Very disappointed, I expected much more for this price and the merrell brand.

Comfortable and waterproof but not warm enough. I live in Boston and if I wait more than 5 or 10 minutes for a bus, my feet get painfully cold. Plus the insole itself isn't warm enough. It is cold to the touch when you put them on. I am disappointed in these boots.

My previous Bean Boots have lasted so many years, that I just got tired of wearing them so passed them on and was looking for something that would keep this cold and snow hater warm. They do just that while being stylish too. My only complaint is that you can never buy a narrow boot or shoe from Bean and I have a narrow foot. That said since I don't have to wear them everyday and I can put thick socks, its doable since I like the boot. How about it LLBean. What about us narrow footed people? Would buy more shoes and boots from you if you carried some I could wear comfortably. Other then that happy with my purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by tallgirlmm nice, but they don't keep you warm
these boots are really cute, I liked that they didn't have laces on them, however they just don't keep your feet warm. I was outside for one and half hours in mid 20 degree temps and my toes were painfully cold in about 30 minutes. I really wanted cold weather boots that I could have for a few years but unfortunately I chose wrong and will have to stick with boots that don't keep my feet warm. In the snow my feet stayed dry so I guess that's something. My last LL Bean boots were great, but our dog chewed one of them so I had to get new boots. Next time I will stick with LL Bean brand boots.

I'll start off by saying these boots are really comfortable, and easy on and off for quickly going outside with dogs or checking mail; HOWEVER, they did not keep my feet warm at all when the temperature was about 5*F and I was wearing smart wool socks. My toes were absolutely freezing and I was only outside for a total of 30 minutes. My gore-tex llbean hiking boots are warmer than these. If your winters don't get colder than 20*F, then they're probably a good choice. I gave them a four star instead of a three, because they REALLY are comfortable, and practical for going outside for short periods of time.

Great boot! Snug around the heel so there is no sloppy feeling of a bulky boot. So far I find them very warm but the real test will be when we have the wet spring snows.

The first time I wore these boots we went to an evening college football game and temperatures were in the 30's. We feet were toasty warm the entire 4-hour game. They're also stylish! A win-win!

The boots are great once you get them on. I have a high instep so making the turn and slipping into the heel was difficult. I almost returned the boots until I tried using a long shoe horn. So far that's worked with lightweight socks. As the weather gets colder I'm hoping heavier socks will work as well. The tread so far has gripped well, even on icy surfaces.

While I haven't worn these in the dead of winter yet, they are warm and comfy. It's been hard to find warm, comfortable, waterproof AND stylish boots. So far these seem like they might be it.

Function, style, great fit. Well worth the wait for backorder, especially if you catch a sale. You will not be disappointed.
