Rated 1 out of 5 by ShortShopper44 Not for Me
I have to say that I really did not care for this sweater at all. The sweater was thin- which would have been ok except it was very staticky and it shrunk after a first wash. I followed the wash directions exactly and air dried but it still shrunk. I returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by realjeans Perfect base layer
This is the second Mountain Trail merino Henley I have purchased this season and it is the perfect base layer in cold climates. They have not been on sale but they are worth every bit of the price. Highly recommend in colder climates and if you work outdoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MountainGirl89 Great wool henley
This is my first henley styled shirt and my girl and I love it. It's soft, warm, and doesn't "shrink wrap" my body (I dislike tight clothing). I am 5'6" 130 lbs and ordered the Medium (black) despite my normal LL Bean size as a S/XS. I ordered up due to other reviews/recommendations and I am glad I did! It could be a little longer but overall I am very pleased with this purchase and I hope it does not shrink in the wash. I do not plan to dry it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by adkdogwalker Very Good quality
This is a great light-med. weight wool shirt for the price. It is more fitted than most LL Bean shirts. Beautiful color and well made. I will buy more in other colors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Vee5 A bit itchy and ........
I liked the shirt at first but it does itch a bit. For some reason its only the sleeves and elbow area that itches. I washed in cold water only and hung to dry. After four times washing and wearing there is a hole in it already. This is why I only give it two stars. For the price I paid, it should have lasted at least a year or so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by realjeans Excellent base layer
I highly recommend this shirt as a base layer in cold climates because it is light weight, warm, wicks away moisture and is perfect for harsh winters. I particularly like it because it is 100% wool and I dislike wearing synthetics or blends. I wear it all the time under a flannel shirt or heavy sweater whenever shoveling or out in the cold and I stay warm and dry. It is also nice enough that one could wear it solo under a jacket. The color choices were great, too, and I like it well enough to order another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by realjeans Great base layer
I thought I had ordered an XS but a S arrived and it fits fine. I am 5 feet tall, 93 lbs. and I do not like tight fitting clothing. The weight is perfect as a first or a second base layer in colder climates and it would work well as a shirt under a blazer or jacket in warmer temperatures. I like the 100% wool fabric and the range of colors offered. The shirt is not itchy or scratchy; in fact, it is very soft and light weight.

Expensive top for it to be so thin. Very short in the body. I love LL Bean just not happy with this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FabricFreak love the color not the style
This shirt looked really cute on the rack - I loved the teal color and the elbow patches. But when I put it on, it just wasn't flattering or stylish. Boxy cuts and round necklines don't flatter me though. I wanted to use it as a layering piece with a cardigan, or as a casual shirt to wear with jeans, but all I could think of was "long johns". It just wasn't my style, but may work fantastic for others! It was cozy and warm though!
