Rated 5 out of 5 by ShopforMocs New Slipper Socks for the Old Man
I bought these for my husband recently to replace an old pair. He loves these! He says they are warmer and more comfortable than the ones he had, and they come up higher on his legs. We keep our house very cool, so if these keep him warm enough, I know it is a great product!

These are great! They are warm and soft and great for around the house. They run true to size so trust the sizing chart. I am very happy with the quality.

First off, these are NOT " Norwegian" - they are communist CHINA resourced. For my usual size 13D, they are a wee short length and width. However, they do keep my feet warmer as I usually run around barefoot but since electric costs keep rising, I'll use these every day this winter and also use the heavy duty robe I bought along with the slipper socks. The ad blurb said not to wear them outside as I think the soles are deer hide. And yes, I found that there is actually a right and left sock.

My husband loves these. They are high enough to keep his feet and ankles warm and are generously padded.

?They fit well & are not difficult to get on my feet (some other, similar items have a tight instep, the bend between the foot & ankle, but these are plenty wide in that area, to permit easy-on, easy-off)
? very attractive winter pattern
?they're part acrylic, something I usually avoid, but this acrylic adds warmth & is quite soft
?the bottoms grip smooth floors & help to avoid slipping
?I was worried that they might not keep my feet warm, but they do

These are very warm and comfy. I do have to say, though, if you are diabetic you may want to look for something that fits a little looser. They can get tight around the top and could result in foot-swelling. I bought these slippers for my mom as her feet are always cold and her feet actually got a little too warm in them, so she is holding off on wearing them until the colder season. She also has a foot disfigurement, but these slipper socks go right on with no problem and finds them to be more comfy than her specially made shoes. I recommend them for people who suffer with cold feet all winter.

Softer wool than the ragwool slippers that I love. The ragwool slippers breath nicely. These do not breath as well because of the fleece lining. However, they are more snug, form-fitting, and more comfortable than the fleece slipper socks. They may not be as durable as the fleece, but ultimately more comfortable. They fit great and are extremely warm. Really best for cold days or for people with really cold feet. Otherwise the ragwool would be my everyday winter slipper sock.
The yarn is great looking and very soft. The loden colored slippers (blue was out of stock) look better in person than in the picture.
It is as good as advertised.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LMBG Not what I hoped for
This item had the exact outer construction I was looking for.
But they are lined and this was not what I wanted. I did not find the fit comfortable. The product was advertised as hand washable. This is only partly true, as the packaging clearly states not to get the leather portion wet. This does not qualify it in my mind as a washable item.
I returned this item.

The slipper socks I recieved are perfect both in size and comfort. Due to issues with diabetes, i wear them every night when not in bed, they help to keep my feet warm and comfortable.
