I bought these for my husband. They are comfortable, cushioned and the fit is "spot on". Leather is soft and he likes that the bottoms are non-slip. He is not a big fan of plush lining, so this is another feature he especially likes about these; they are lined with a lightweight fabric material. Very happy with purchase!

Very comfortable and stylish. However, I don't believe the sole is heavy enough for much outside wear, perhaps only short trips to pick up the paper, etc.

This is my second pair of Lakeside slippers -- the soles on the first pair came away at the toe and heel areas on both slippers. Apparently Bean have changed manufacturing specs and now pre-form the sole before attaching it to the slipper --- so far, the second pair have been excellent.
They are snugger along the top of the foot that I might like, but I simply wear a thinner ski sock which actually works very well. To be fair, being leather, they have stretched a bit to be more comfortable.
The construction quality is very high --- vastly superior to the several flannel lined Bean slippers which I have owned over the years but had on-going issues with the crepe soles wearing through easily.
The leather is excellent quality, and the inside of the slipper does not wear through either --- a common issue with flannel or cotton lined slippers.
There is a leather heel patch inside the slipper which adds greatly to the longevity of wear and overall high quality of the product.
Love these slippers and don't want to take them off ever.

These slippers are so comfortable it is ridiculous. They look good. They are non-slip which at my advancing age I like. They are comfortable without socks for a short periods of time but for extended time periods I recommend socks. That is the norm for me though since my feet get pretty warm and sweaty.

My husband loves these slippers, and says they are the best he has ever had. He usually wears a size 9 1/2, but based on other reviews, we ordered up to a 10, and they fit great. (They only came in even sizes.)

Gave to the boyfriend as a gift. Fit his feet perfectly. Not to hot, and extremely comfortable. Little disappointed about the soles. I thought they were indoor/outdoor shoes but it doesn't appear that way. Bought them to wear inside but also a quick run outside for the mail and to take the dogs out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FromNebraska Well made, but too narrow
I wear a D-width shoe and these were supposedly a D-width, but they were too narrow. I wore them for a couple of weeks in hopes that this would get better as they got broken in, but that didn't work out. Rather, they just spread out to the outside, so that I was walking partially on the sole and partially on the side of the slipper. They became uncomfortable and I have returned them.
The quality of the slipper otherwise appears to be excellent and I have ordered another pair of slippers (different model in an EE width# from LL Bean. Shopping online for shoes or slippers is not my favorite way of doing things, but I'm willing to do it with LL Bean because of their return policy.
I would recommend these slippers if you take a C width, but not if you take a D (or wider).

Rated 5 out of 5 He won't take them off!
I got these slippers for my boyfriend for Valentine's day because his feet are always cold, and he doesn't have any comfy shoes to lounge around in. He raves about them all the time! Just a little story about them--- We were going to get dinner at a drive through last night and I slipped them on just to wear to town and back. I was waiting for him in the car and he never came out, so I went back in to see what was taking him so long. HE WAS LOOKING FOR THE SLIPPERS so that he could wear them to town!
