Rated 5 out of 5 by DCBikeCommuter (Almost as) comfortable as my jeans
I have always reluctantly conformed to office dress code largely because I could never find trousers that were both appropriate and more importantly comfortable. Then I discovered these; solid material, great fit, straightforward design. I have rather solid thighs and calves which have often strained previous pants with an appropriate waist size. These fit extremely confortably with no binding around the thighs while sitting, drape well and, for me, have the preferred simplicity of a single button rather than the hook and button set up of many dress pants. I generally dry clean them but in extremis while traveling have machine washed them. They pack well, keep a crease, and iron easily when needed. All in all they have helped dramatically lessen my antipathy to the office dress code.

The pants fit great and look good; however the material feels slightly scratchy. As a result I returned the pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ellipsis Really Nice Product, Only.....
I wear Levi's 550 jeans with a 34W and 36" Inseam - that translates here to a 36"W and a 34-1/2" Inseam with these pants (no hassles from LLBean on making the returns, however). The fit otherwise is very nice through the hips and legs, etc. Just be aware that the numbers won't be what you expect.
I have these pants in every color and generally wear each 3-4 times per month (not quite once per week) and after a year they've all been holding up just fine (I did have to have one pair re-hemmed in the leg when the stitching loosened). More often than not, I'll have them dry-cleaned just because it looks much better, but I've also machine-washed (gentle cycle) a number of times and they hold up well except you have to iron them carefully.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this product...!

Rated 1 out of 5 by OleMissfan Alteration misfire
Had the pant length altered, and when the pants arrived, there was a two inch cut on the back. It appeared to have been made by a razor blade. I had a local tailor sew it, and because my belt hides the cut they are wearable. LL Bean offered to ship me a new pair of pants or pay for the repair if I sent in the receipt.
