Rated 4 out of 5 by theJAH Great dressy pants
Well - these have been washed and came out looking great. Admittedly - the claim of washable I took with a grain of salt but it's true. The drape is excellent and sit very well on my somewhat skinny frame.
One comment - why isn't there an internal fly button?
Good job - I'm ordering more now.

I have bought 6 or 7 pairs of these wool pants over the past 5 years and I'm ready to buy some more. I live in south
Florida and find them extremely comfortable even in the oppressive heat we get in the Summer. My one complaint is that after about 6 months, I've had to have all of them re-hemmed. At $13.00 per pair for hemming, this offsets a lot of the savings from the lack of dry cleaning. Still very much worth it.

I really like the fit and style of these trousers..
Just want to say that for the price I expected a much better waist fly--for example look at the Durhopp/Adler example on goggle for a well designed fly for men's trousers...
Thanks for letting me suggest..
I will keep and wear these but wait for a better design before ordering another pair..

Rated 5 out of 5 by reviewersince83 Wool for summer? Yes!
This is one of the best pair of trousers I own for work. They look good, are comfortable and drape nicely- one of the most pleasant surprises was how breathable and airy they are- literally 'cooler' and more comfortable than poplin or seersucker in the summer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Beseeingyou Very poor hemming quality
Very disappointed. The hemming was puckered and not in a straight line. It's as if no one cared. Going back - at MY expense...

Rated 4 out of 5 by LexOffice Great fit, long wear, poor hem
I have two pair of these pants (grey color) purchased a year ago and nine months ago. Both have been washed over 22 times and still fit as well as the day they first arrived and show virtually no wear. I typically will wear them twice before throwing them in the laundry (following the directions on the label) and, because I am picky, I will touch them up with a steam iron on a low setting before putting them on. I like the choice of sizes. I wear a hard-to-find 35-inch waist and these provide a perfect fit. The weight is warm enough for winter in snow country, but cool enough on warm summer days. My only complaint is that the hem came out of one of the pants after only being worn only three times. Otherwise, I would have rated these pants as 5 stars. LL Bean promptly replaced using the express exchange and no questions asked, but it was still an annoyance to have to package it up and take it to a UPS drop.

These are really nice looking pants. I ordered mine cuffed and they fit true to size. I've had multiple comments regarding how nice they look. I don't wear them every day, but if I have presentation or important meeting to attend, I find myself wearing these. I just ordered my second pair. They are little pricey, but I think it's worth having a few of these in your wardrobe for occasions that demand something a little nicer.

These "washable pants" have a care tag on them that says do not wash or dry; and Dry Clean. LL bean needs to update the description on these pants. These pants are OK but not washable which is the reason I purchased them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by sam4 washable wool pants
The material and the basic construction are good, but the final preparation is poor. The pant creases were not exact; so when hung on a hanger, the creases become rounded no matter how carefully one tries to align the edges. Also the no-cuff finishing was rounded and tacked but not pressed; so the pant bottoms look unfinished.
