The blanket arrived within 24 hours of my ordering it. I like the color and the softness of the plush side. This blanket should be a nice covering for years to come.

We are a warm, soft snugly blanket family, and very picky on which blankets we use. I always have purchased mink blankets for the colder months, and light Sherpa blankets for the warmer months.
I have a few down blankets for really cold nights, but they are not used too often because they run SO hot.
Now, we have the best of both Worlds. This is the ultimate blanket. Softer than Sherpa, light enough to use in the summer, and warm enough for colder nights. The down warms you up, the bear soft side against your skin to snuggle, and if you get too warm, you lay against it, and it still warms you without too much heat.
Now, during the Really cold winter, I add a blanket, but this works , by itself, for almost 9 months in Georgia.
I bought extras after Christmas, for " spares" but my daughter has already claimed one as her favorite, so I bought another.
Once you try this blanket, you will keep it.
It is a little pricey, but if you look at the other total down comforters on the market, the price is right in line.
Cannot stress how much our family loves these blankets. We have the throws, as well, but they are short, and do not provide the proper coverage to sleep, but are nice to snuggle with, on the couch.

One family member really likes this and another really does not. It is soft and warm, winter warm, also very heavy. If you like the lightness of down, look elsewhere.

WOW!! This blanket is a "Work of Art." It is the coziest, most comfortable, blanket that I've ever owned. Bluegrass is a gorgeous color for my bedroom. We are having a frigid winter here in Long Island, NY so I ordered this at the right time. Thank you Llbean for such a fine product of superior quality. I'm sooooo warm :)

Nice weight, not too thick but just right as far as warmth. King size is generous, hangs nicely over the sides. We use the blanket with a handmade quilt and is all we need to keep warm with below zero nights.

What a beautiful comforter. The color (blue grass) is beautiful and a perfect match for the supima premium flannel sheets. So soft and snuggly. Unfortunately some one stole it before I could sleep with it! :( I'll save my money and buy another one. This is a beautiful soft blanket, Great quality, is as is all of LL bean products.

For a warm blanket this is fairly light weight . Very luxurious and soft to the touch. We experienced a down blanket at a hotel and had to find one for our home. This is even better.

I purchased the throw first and loved the warmth and coziness but found it to be too small. I then stepped up to the twin size and I love it. I use it for the sofa and tv watching. It is very warm and the fleece is so soft and dreamy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jdmeara Great warmth and comfort.
I had two of the ultra plush down throws that my wife and I were carting upstairs and downstairs every night. We'd take it down to watch TV and then back up to throw on top of a regular down comforter while we slept (I normally would toss my throw aside because I get hot at night). We bought the blanket to use as a comforter for our bed and the other benefit would be that the throws could stay downstairs as "TV blankets."
These things are super comfortable. The lining on one side feels great against skin. The other side is a nice fabric. The only reason this got 4 vs. 5 stars is that it does slip around. We have the blanket on top of a percale LL Bean sheet set, fleece side down, and it does slide around. We've tucked the blanket in at the bottom and that pretty much solves the issue. It makes sense it slides and I don't know if there is anything LL Bean could do to solve it, but with a quick bottom tuck, it's just fine. As long as you don't mind tucking your blanket in the bottom (ours can't tuck on the side - we have a mattress with a memory topper built in). this works great. If you don't want to tuck, but want to experience the joys of this blanket...buy a throw.
All in all, excellent blanket with the quality we have come to expect from LL Bean.
