This is the coziest blanket that I've ever owned but comfortable for at least 3 and for me 4 seasons! One of the best bedding purchases I've ever made.

I really do love this blanket. I was looking for something that I could use in the family room and leave there.I purchased the driftwood color, hoping it would 'go' well enough with the new furniture, but was pleasantly surprised to find it's an almost perfect match. It's so soft on the plush side and smooth and nice on the sateen side. I don't mind the little sound that is there with this one when it's moved . There are no sheets and comforters that match this (I would have loved a sham), but I purchased sheets in the New Khaki color and they go with well enough. Even though it is for a family room chaise I choose the twin blanket instead of the the throw for the size. Haven't washed it yet, so can't report on how it does with that.

I was looking desperately for a lightweight down quilt for use in the Vermont summer. This was not it. It was even heavier than the winter weight down quilt I hoped it would replace. Handsome, but much too heavy with the velour backing.

I have the throw, loved it and was wishing there was a larger version. I received one for Christmas this year and couldn't be happier. It is perfect for the New England transition into spring when a heavier down comforter is too warm.
The furry side is so soft I eschew a top sheet. It's like sleeping wrapped in furry comfort. Similar to when my lab joins me in bed, but without the shedding.
The bluegrass color is a lovely silvery blue green and the only improvement I could ask is more colors - such as gray or pure white.
Job well done Bean. This blanket is worth every penny.

Are you hesitating? Get it. This blanket is a sleeper (pun!). Any day, it's going to appear on the cover of Time as "Blanket of the Year."
I got Primaloft and it's the right warmth in a west coastal climate (rarely much below freezing). Primaloft is lightweight and indeed "down-like."
You'll think I'm neurotic, but I feel the Primaloft is more sanitary than real down. Just my idea. Allergies, dust, dogs, all those things,
OK, so you get your blanket. You sleep a few nights. Now there is no question in your mind everyone in the family must have one. It's spring, so start the Piggy Bank and you can get them all by fall.
Go ahead, no one will regret it, especially anyone elderly or ill! Get them for the kids, grandma, and your mom too.
One tip, for a nice subdued color, try the "driftwood." The catalog does not convey the soft sheen of this sandy color that can work as a neutral.

by Sydneylyn Ultraplush sateenblanket down and furry king sized
I absolutely love this blanket! I bought it in Bluegrass which is a beautiful color. It is soft and warm but lighter than a regular down comforter. I think it will work as a great transition piece between really cold to really hot. I am sharing pictures of it on my Facebook timeline. Everyone loves it! I used the Blooming Circles quilt folded fan style at the bottom of the bed and the pillow sham so match. It all went together well.

This is the best blanket I have owned in 25 years of marriage. I was given the throw as a Christmas gift and used it every night on the sofa...even took it with me when I traveled for the weekend and to the hospital for a quick stay. Then treated my self to the king version, I am so glad I did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Embo64 Warm and Cozy, Weird Color
This blanket is a great option if you don't want to spring for a pricey down comforter. The plush lining feels amazing and the loft is very good. Good quality, warm, and not too heavy. The queen size fits well on our queen bed, although I do wish it were just a tad longer. My only "complaint" is the color. We ordered Natural, expecting it to be a neutral off-white/ivory. In reality, it is the color of tea-stained linen, a kind of pale, burnt yellow. It's not very attractive, but the blanket is so comfy and warm that I can't part with it long enough to exchange for a different color!

I love this blanket, but am very unhappy with the color. I ordered
natural which turned out to be yellow--it should be called yellow.
I wanted white or as close to it as possible --but not yellow.

I purchased the Down-Filled Ultraplush Sateen Blanket and I'm extremely pleased with it. I've been looking for a comforter that isn't big and bulky. The down filling doesn't shift around and stays in position so there are no cold spots. This is an great product at a great price.
