I love my fleece lined flannel shirts. I have 2. They keep me very warm. I am definitely comfortable in these shirts in 30 degree weather. They're also somewhat waterproof. Can easily layer stuff under them. Highly recommend these shirts!

These fleece-lined flannel shirts are my absolute favorites for Pacific NW chilly days. This one, in particular, is soft and lighter weight than some I have but it's perfect for me - so very soft and comforting. It's boxy so I can wear the medium and have the shoulders/neck fit well. Absolutely perfect and I've ordered another color.

This shirt is boxy and it shrank as soon as I washed and dried it! The sleeves are now 3/4 lengths and it wears funny. I wouldn't waste the money again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by burnie NOT FLANNEL!!!
I ordered this shirt and also a men's fleece lined flannel shirt for my husband and the difference in the shirts is huge! The women's shirt IS NOT flannel and the fleece inside is very thin and not plush at all, while the men's shirt IS flannel and the fleece inside is very plush and thick. Also the men's shirt has pockets for your hands while the women's does not. LLBean, why is the men's shirt true flannel and the women's is not?? Why doesn't the women's shirt have pockets?? We need pockets too! If the men's came in an xsmall I would buy one of those!

Rated 4 out of 5 by NJLadyWhoLovesVT Great Shirt But Short Sleeves!
Love the fleece lined flannel - it's super soft and cozy! But beware of the reviews that say it runs large. I normally wear an 8, which is usually a Medium. This Medium is supposedly a size 10-12, and it is boxy in the body/mid-section. But the shoulders barely fit and the sleeves stop several inches above my wrist - and that was trying it on with no shirt underneath! I admit I have long arms but didn't think it would be a problem based on other reviews. Had to order a Large so it can be an overshirt - hoping it works because it sure is comfy and warm!

Having bought the knit corduroy pants in the darkest gray, I then bought the LLBeans fleeced lined flannel shirt in the fig color, which is a dark red, black & white plaid that is nicely lined with a dark gray / charcoal fleece, which really looks neat when the cuffs are turned back. I love this shirt ! The size is generous and is made sturdy enough to be worn as a jacket when the cooler days finally arrive here in FL. Another cute country chic outfit ! Thanks LLBean !

This has been my favorite, cozy shirt for a couple years. It's perfect for warming up, lounging, doing outside chores, sleeping and more. I tend to wear it at home, though sometimes I'll layer a tee under it with jeans and boots on a run to the hardware store.
The flannel and fleece are thick and soft. The shirt is sturdy, made well and holds up well in the washer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NN4CR Relaxed Fit, yes!!!
Wearing this superbly-made shirt is soothing and comfortable. It is warm. It is "relaxed" - longer length, ample cut and no annoying tightness anywhere.
I am "in between" size XL (regular) and 1X ('plus'). In this shirt the extra-large is plenty roomy. I'm glad because LLB seems to be phasing out their "relaxed fit" which is the only fit I like.
Despite this shirt being plaid, it is fairly feminine. The single (preferable) decorative pocket on front, the pretty colors, the pastel buttons. I have Blue Chambray; the subtle colors look nicer in person than on my monitor.
This shirt is slightly different than the model of 2 years ago. The interior fleece is still cozy, but has been somehow trimmed or thinned, so it's less bulky. It's not as fluffy-feeling, but the shirt lies smoothly at collar, shoulders and sleeves. Also, cuffs and inner collar are now lined with this smoother fleece, so you are "up to your neck" in warmth.
The fabric, design, stitching, and cut are top-quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RebbyG One Serious Flannel!
I was pleasantly surprised by the physical weight of this shirt upon taking it out of the package. The fit does run a bit big. I ordered the Medium but could easily wear a Small if I don't want to layer long sleeve shirts underneath. The M will be great layered up for chilly Wisconsin days. The fit is slightly boxy - this is definitely not a fashion-forward flannel, but beautiful quality and great for the outdoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ARRose Awesome and large!
I love this shirt. It's warm, comfortable, and looks great with everything, or just around the farm. However....it's HUGE. I bought a small and I could button it when i was 9 months pregnant. I am not a small person, plus I had gained 50 pounds and was pushing 180. I'd definitely buy it again though!
