I love my fleece lined flannel shirts. I have 2. They keep me very warm. I am definitely comfortable in these shirts in 30 degree weather. They're also somewhat waterproof. Can easily layer stuff under them. Highly recommend these shirts!

This shirt brings 2 of my favorite fabrics together- flannel and fleece. I love all things plaid too! I hope L.L. Bean can make more to keep up with the demand....I was so excited to finally find the Raspberry color in my size (Small).
This shirt is so comfy and I love wearing it indoors or out. Please keep making this shirt and keep up with the demand!

These are very comfy and warm, but I liked the old fleece lining better. It was softer, almost furry. Now it is the same as the men's fleece lining. This lining does not stay nearly as soft after years of use and washing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by rdrenoll The lining is bigger than the shirt
I was so excited to receive this fleece lined shirt as a gift and as expected it is warm and very comfortable. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks after receiving the shirt and after washing, I noticed that the fleece lining shows below the outer fabric about 2" in back. The lining doesn't really hang down below the shirt but curls up the outer fabric so that the lining shows. I know that cheaper shirts often have this problem, my son has two from big box stores with the same problem, I was hoping this expensive shirt would have found a fix for this problem.

why do women's clothing have to be thinner then men's? The flannel on this shirt is not even brushed to make it softer and the fleece lining is very thin . I know the next time I buy a shirt like this I am buying the men's version. I need warmer clothes because I freeze in winter

I love this shirt. It is so cozy to put it on and feel that soft fleece against my arms. However, it is not a flannel shirt. I would say it is combed cotton or brushed cotton. 'Very soft and lovely, but I don't think it should be described as flannel.

I. love. this. shirt. So much that I bought another. Everything about this shirt is awesome! I wear it in a warehouse and it is just perfect! I am 5'5", about 150, athletic. I ordered a Large for the first shirt because I like layer room. I had plenty, so I ordered a Medium for the second. I have owned the first one for about 3 years and it has no sign of any thin spots anywhere! I went to order a third, but they are almost always sold out!

I bought the men's version of this shirt for my husband and one for myself a couple of years ago. Those shirts were amazing, so I thought I'd buy a new color this year. The mauve plaid fabric was very thin, and actually deteriorated under the left arm, leaving a large hole (the underlying fleece layer remained intact). I've been shopping at LL Bean for many, many years, and this is the first item that I had to send back because of poor quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Scoutpenny Warm, soft, cozy but boxy.
I bought this shirt in the sapphire blue color in size medium. I am 5'6" tall and weigh about 125 pounds. The shirt fits me quite nicely with a bit of room to spare which I like. The small probably would have been fine but in a shirt like this I like a little more room.
This way, I can wear either a turtle neck or n L.L. Bean waffle Henley underneath.
This is a shirt that really has kept me warm and it is extremely soft and comfortable. I love the sapphire blue color. The only issue, which is minor, is just how boxy the cut is. It's a minor issue because this isn't a shirt I am going out on the town with. It's perfect for working in the house or yard or for running errands.
It washes well but with all my L.L. Bean cotton items, I now only hang to dry. Most L.L. Bean cotton clothing shrinks too much these days so the dryer is out.

Had to comeback and buy myself another one! This shirt is so soft and warm. It is roomy so you can wear a shirt under it and use it like a sweater or jacket. So soft so as a shirt, it is also very comfortable. It washes very well too. I always get compliments and people asking where did I get that! : )
