Rated 5 out of 5 by RunningMom2 So comfortable and flattering!
This skort is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a medium- I'm 5'7", 155 pounds and quite muscular. It fits perfectly! The length is just right, not too short, not too long. I really like the shorts underneath. I was afraid they may ride up when I walk, but they don't. They are substantial enough to feel like good coverage, but not heavy. They stay put without being tight. The color nice and bright- accurate when compared to the picture. I will be ordering more of these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BotticelliBabe My newest archery essential
I have this skort in last year's print, but same model. Like it so much I'm buying another.
Since retirement I've put on a lot of muscle doing outdoor work and sports. Always have had an hourglass figure, and run to the nearctic peasant body type. So "I'm looking for a reproductive mate" clothing styles especially don't work for me. I hate clothes shopping. Plus I don't need foofy fabrics for bashing around in the backwoods.
So I bought this skort with some reservations last winter and wore it this summer for field archery, layered atop leggings (protection against midges) with a close fitting hip-length top for brush protection and my field boots. It was a gamble...and it has turned out to be wonderful.
I have full range of movement, especially on steep trails (which I can't get with denim). The close fit doesn't interfere with either my bow or quiver. I could conceivably wear it without the tights, and will try that in the fall after the mosquitos and midges have died back.
The fabric, like my dance skins, can get wet and will dry out quickly both hanging and on the body (perfect for a dip in cold water to rinse off the trail salt), and launders up beautifully. I expected the back skirt to ride up on my curvaceous natural bustle...but it doesn't!
Archery demands no-nonsense, close-fitting clothing, and I don't like wearing the corporate gear largely available to people in our sport. As much as I detest the portmanteau word "skort," I love the garment!

I purchased the fitness skort at the LL Bean store. The first time I wore this skirt I received numerous compliments. Please make this fitness skort in more dark tones (gray, navy, etc)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Valleymom5 Just what I was looking for.
I play tennis. Most of the tennis skirts/skorts are just too short for my liking. So, surfing the internet, I found these.
Good quality, built in shorts, moves with you fabric, nice pattern, and very comfortable. Length was just where I like it! Price was very reasonable compaired to the cost of tennis apparel. Many compliments.
I am ordering another pair, and color. Highly recommended. And not just for tennis............

Rated 3 out of 5 by hikerfrau Straight fit; bulky liner short
This skirt is cut fairly straight through the waist, hip and thigh. I'm 5'3" and the skirt falls 2" above my knee.
The liner short is bulky and warm. There's a wide crotch gusset that runs from leg seam to leg seam which is double thick. The liner seams are scratchy and also bulky. It feels like wearing bicycle shorts.
It would be easy to cut the shorts out. But there is a hole at the hip of the outer skirt to close up. The hole appears to be intended for you to snake headphone wires through. The liner short has an mp3 player pocket under the hole.
I'm not sure if I'll keep this or recommend it to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FunGr Great multi-purpose skort
This skort is great for tennis as it's a little longer than most tennis skirts and more flattering on my older legs. It's also good for a walk on the beach or a trip to the grocery store. I have received many compliments on it and will buy more when the price drops!
The fit is excellent (I am about 140 lbs, 5'5" and wear size M).
I agree with the reviewer who says that LLBean is missing a market: tennis players looking for fashionable yet modest skirts and tank tops!

Rated 5 out of 5 by funseeker Absolutely love this skort!
I have to admit that I do not wear shorts often. When I work out in warmer weather, I tend to wear capris pants. So, I went out on a limb and tried this item to wear mainly for golfing when its hot. I am absolutely in love with this item!!!! Everything about it is perfect. I love the length--on the shorter side but not too short; I feel like I can wear it to run errands after my workout or be able to sit in the club house and not feel weird. The material is mesh-like and it breathes. It sits right at my belly button. I like that it has a pocket for a cell phone, keys, or extra golf balls. I like this skort so much that I am wearing it for other activities than just golf. Even the hubby approves and thinks its cute. I will probably be buying another one--worth every penny. I would love to see this item in something other than black or print--maybe a khaki or olive color would be nice.
