Rated 2 out of 5 by Santacruzgal Seriously ginormous
I usually size up in flannel PJ bottoms because I like a loose fit in my lounge wear...but these are ridiculous. I got the sledding dogs-- fun-- and the flannel is reasonably soft and comfortable. But in a size L, the legs are really really really huge. And what's with the pockets? Am I planning to go to the grocery store in my PJ's? Could really do without the bulk of unnecessary pockets. Won't buy these again.

I am so disappointed in these pajamas! They are about 2 inches bigger and 3-4 inches longer than the holiday flannel pajama pants I have purchased the past few years. The pants do tend to shrink a little in the length after laundering a few times, but even with that these will still be way too long. They also have added pockets to the pants. Not sure why...I could do without them. Why did you change a great item?

I like these enough that I have bought three over the past couple of years. I get them for all winter so choose the most un-holiday designs available. I really like the substantial weight of the flannel. I buy Bean's waffle henley shirts to pair with the flannel pants because they are warmer than the tops available in p.j. sets. .

The doggie pj bottoms are nice and I love the design since the receiver of the pjs has 2 chocolate labs however, I ordered a medium and they look very large. I may end up returning them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alex721 perfect winter loungewear
I love everything about these pants, from the softness of the material, to the fun and attractive patterns. They fit pretty true to size on me, perhaps slightly big, but since sleepwear is all about comfort, I don't mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by gr8shper And with POCKETS!!!
These are very comfortable and pretty AND these have pockets! A feminine pair of pj pants with pockets is very hard to find. The sizing runs roomy... the stride is perfect. The fabric is very stiff as if there is a lot of sizing in these. I am hoping that when these are washed they become softer. I am 5 ft and the length is long, which I expected. These have a drawstring waist that ties with a cotton, woven twill-type tie.
I purchased the pink dot and it is so pretty "in person." Would love to see these offered in other prints. The fabric is thin enough that it is not hot to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OliveTree Comfortable but the rise is so high!
The material is soft-ish cotton (for really soft, smooth cotton, try LL Bean's ultrasoft sleepwear pj's) that's of light-medium weight. Cute design (I got the blue snowflakes).
The fit is okay but on the larger size. I am 5'3 and wear a M or 8-10 in clothes. I got the petite M here. I probably could have gotten a S instead. The waist is larger than expected. The rise (from crotch to waist) is CRAZY LONG. I have to hike it well above my natural waist. Because the fit is a little bigger, this means the waistline keeps slipping down to my hips. Meh, not a big deal but that keeps it from being my ideal set of pants.
Overall, I'd recommend this for fall, winter, and spring nights -- but size down.

Looks like Charles Schultz himself drew the design. Always look forward to fall and new patterns of these flannel sleep bottoms. I have several and wear them year 'round- they last and last after many washings and feel cozy on the skin. An LLB staple purchase for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by IHeartLobsters Disappointing Designs
Another year, another set of disappointing designs for these eagerly awaited holiday PJ bottoms. Come the first of September, I visit LLBean, hoping for some adorable unique maine and holiday-inspired designs. And - as always, the dogs are cute but pattern unoriginal, the snowflakes okay but nothing magical or to write home about, and the other two designs nowhere near interesting or festive. How about some happy holiday lobsters (you could take this a million different ways - santa hats, etc.)? Dancing candy canes? Mugs of hot chocolate? Dogs by a fireplace? Little maine elves with blueberries incorporated? Santas with lobsters in their packs? Reindeer toting said santas? Forest animals decorating trees? Lobster christmas lights? Maine license plates decorated with holly? Decorated lighthouses? Clam baskets? Clams in general on a christmas tree? C'mon?you can do so much better! And no more bland pastel-y colors, either. You need a new designer with imagination!
