Rated 5 out of 5 by OliveTree Comfortable but the rise is so high!
The material is soft-ish cotton (for really soft, smooth cotton, try LL Bean's ultrasoft sleepwear pj's) that's of light-medium weight. Cute design (I got the blue snowflakes).
The fit is okay but on the larger size. I am 5'3 and wear a M or 8-10 in clothes. I got the petite M here. I probably could have gotten a S instead. The waist is larger than expected. The rise (from crotch to waist) is CRAZY LONG. I have to hike it well above my natural waist. Because the fit is a little bigger, this means the waistline keeps slipping down to my hips. Meh, not a big deal but that keeps it from being my ideal set of pants.
Overall, I'd recommend this for fall, winter, and spring nights -- but size down.

Looks like Charles Schultz himself drew the design. Always look forward to fall and new patterns of these flannel sleep bottoms. I have several and wear them year 'round- they last and last after many washings and feel cozy on the skin. An LLB staple purchase for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by IHeartLobsters Disappointing Designs
Another year, another set of disappointing designs for these eagerly awaited holiday PJ bottoms. Come the first of September, I visit LLBean, hoping for some adorable unique maine and holiday-inspired designs. And - as always, the dogs are cute but pattern unoriginal, the snowflakes okay but nothing magical or to write home about, and the other two designs nowhere near interesting or festive. How about some happy holiday lobsters (you could take this a million different ways - santa hats, etc.)? Dancing candy canes? Mugs of hot chocolate? Dogs by a fireplace? Little maine elves with blueberries incorporated? Santas with lobsters in their packs? Reindeer toting said santas? Forest animals decorating trees? Lobster christmas lights? Maine license plates decorated with holly? Decorated lighthouses? Clam baskets? Clams in general on a christmas tree? C'mon?you can do so much better! And no more bland pastel-y colors, either. You need a new designer with imagination!

I really like these pi's. I bought them in the Aqua Mint Trees- very cute! I live in northern NJ and we have had so much snow & its been very cold. These are by far my favorite pants. I will say this: try on several sizes. An XL was way way too big and billowy. They would not have been warm because there was too much fabric flapping around. So I went with a size L and they are nice & comfortable, still baggy, but I like my pjs roomy. Love the pockets & the fabric is nice and thick. Have washed a few times & no pilling so far. This is my 3rd pair of LL Bean pi's. Love their stuff!

Rated 4 out of 5 by LLBeanLover78 Great flannel, a bit too long
In the great LLbean tradition of excellent quality flannel pajama. My only gripe is that is it really long. I am 5'5" and the small is really long. I wish there was a petite.

The Good: 1) Those wonderful dogs - the Jack Russell, the black Lab, and the "Schnoodle". 2) That Cobalt color. Deep and rich and forever, and I plan to keep it that way by laundering them with love, inside out, cold water, and low heat or no heat drying. 3) You can wear the top as a shirt with jeans or sweatpants.
The Bad: 1) The sizing. I bought XS and I could fit my conjoined twin in the bottoms with me, if I had a conjoined twin. The top is fine. 2) They don't come in Petite. I'm 5 feet short.
The Snuggly: 1) The velvety flannel, so wonderful to wake up in on a rainy morning or 2) to wear at home on a rainy day - all day. Pure heaven. 3) Laundered with love, the flannel actually swells and "blooms" a bit, making them a little thicker and softer. 4) They do not stick to my Botanical Floral flannel sheets, maybe because I do NOT use fabric softener on either.
P.S. Now I may not know what that last dog is, but to be called a "Schnoodle" is the highest honor. And my own dear Schnoodle likes them also - that's my dog, not my husband. And my husband absolutely Loves them on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by uncflute So comfortable and warm I ordered several more!
I had not ordered from L.L. Bean before, but gambled and got the red snowflake pattern in these pajamas. Absolutely loved them. The sizing is a little large, but I like the generous cut because I want my pajamas to be roomy. Liked them so much that I also ordered the mint/tree-patterned pair and the cobalt blue/dog-patterned pair in the same size. Love that these pants have pockets! Great job, L.L. Bean! They're keeping me nice and warm during all this cold weather!

Rated 3 out of 5 by PracticalPerson2 Pockets
I own a few pairs of LLBean flannel sleep pants and other than shrinking to be too short on my 5'4" frame, I love them. The elastic waist with the draw string and roomy cut are perfect for my curvy body. The addition of the pockets on this latest version does not work for me. Maybe if the pockets were made of a lighter weight fabric it would be okay, but the three layers of flannel adds too much bulk.
