This is my 2nd O-Grill 500 and only because I gave away my original orange grill. There was nothing wrong with the original unit other than being orange and the closing latch didn't latch well. The performance of the unit was fine and it was just the right size for grilling 2 steaks. Nothing too large or too small.
I finally bought this second unit because it was blue, the original color I wanted. It works just as the original unit. The latch has been fixed and latches the 2 haves securely. Again perfect size of grilling steaks, chicken, kabobs and vegetables. We can't recommend it enough.

I purchased this grill a month ago and just got back from a camping trip were it was put to use. There were eight of us total and our camp site ended up being we're all the meals were cooked. The grill worked great, heated up quickly, cooked evenly and was very easy to clean up. We cooked pork tenderloin, burgers, brats, potatoes and even used it to grill sandwiches. I would highly recommend the stand too. No more smokey food!

Love this Grill. Bought it 3 years ago and it functions as it did the day we bought it. We bought it to use on camping trips and found that we were using it at home too. We had compared this one with the Weber Q1000, and chose this one and have no regrets!

This grill lasted only 4 months. The gas valve stopped working as did the automatic lighting mechanism. There was no way to fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 Superior in windy conditions and cleans easily
I have owned numerous portable grills...nothing compares to the "O Grill" .... and mine is not the newer one.... I am buying this one for our condo.
It ignites every time, cooks evenly, does exceptionally well in windy conditions, which is where others fail.
I like to clean the grill before storing it in the great carrying case..... the washable, removable drip pan, lifts from beneath the grill to clean. Once cooled, obviously, remove grilling surface to clean which exposes the round burner, held in two easily removable screws, if you wanted to clean the "bowl" of the grill without any obstructions.
The folds up into a slender unit making it easy to store. In a nut shell, awesome grill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 4HDogClubLeader very nice
It looked like nice quality however I did not get to use it because it was purchased for a van type motorhome and it would not fit in the compartment. I will have to return it as I already have one for my open porch.

Picked this grill up at the last minute to grill some steaks on a camping trip. Yeah, would have been cheaper to eat out; but that's another story. Found this grill easy to set up and use. Heavy duty cast iron grill heated perfectly evenly and cooked up the steaks perfectly first time. Easy to clean up; compact and easy to store. We'll see how durable this grill is over time; but for now I'm very happy with it and will use it at the beach and tailgating.

Awesome portable cookery! Easy to set up, to clean, it has even widely adjustable heat. For camping or tail-gating it's the perfect BBQ for two. I love the cast iron grill, holds the heat for slow cooking or cranks up (9k BTU's) and sears to perfection. So far, it's the best little gas grill I've used and a great value.
