Rated 4 out of 5�by Karensusan Nice bag! I got this bag during the holi-daily deal promotion and I'm really pleased with it. I personally wouldn't call it a mini purse, it's generously sized and has divided compartments which I love. I agree that the handles are too short to be comfortable as a shoulder length, even without a coat here in Florida. The zipper sticks out of the purse on one end (only shown in the photo with the purse on the end table) which I thought was weird at first (and why I gave it 4 stars out of 5) but upon using it I realized that type of construction allows the purse to open more fully and holding the "tab" makes it easier to zip the purse closed. I love the red plaid design and the quality of the wool fabric and leather details. A favorite photo of mine from our family album is of my mom, during the 60's, looking beautiful in a red plaid coat. When I saw this purse I knew I had to have it. Thanks LL Bean! December 16, 2012

I wish that it came in different fabrics (quilted nylon in black or dark brown, or all leather). The plaid is lovely but it is seasonal. For the price, a year-round bag is more appealing to me. Rated 3 out of 5�by gatta handles too short. The description of this tote claims "Over-the-shoulder-length handles." The drop on these handles is 7 1/2". It is not nearly long enough to wear over-the-shoulder with a bulky winter coat. This tote is made of brushed wool; it can only be worn in winter. The handles need to be at least 2" longer to wear over-the-shoulder comfortably with a coat on. That said, it is attractive and appears to be well-made. The divided interior is a great and a hard-to-find feature in a tote this size. Despite the handles, I may keep it only because of the interior organizer. November 14, 2012
